Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Subject: Please go through the documents attached.

Thank you so much for our telephone conversation of yesterday and today, I am happy that you have believed in me and has promised to help me and as well confirmed your willingness to help me to secure the release of the money which my late father left for me which is presently in the custody of a security and Trust Company. I am sure you received my Picture and National Identity Card that I sent to you for you to confirm that I am for real.

I took time to explain everything to you, I know it will take your time to read it, but please make out time to carefully read the email and go through the attached documents in order to understand this transaction very well.

Before I proceed further I beg you in Gods name to keep this transaction and the money that is involve highly confidential for security reasons. This is because this transaction is a very huge one due to the amount of money that is involve (9.5 Million USD), and it is the only remaining assets which my late father left for me, hence I am being very careful to make sure that the funds will be safely claimed from the security company and delivered to your designated address before I will come and meet you for the investment, and I know that God has brought you my way to help me sincerely. This transaction demands a very urgent attention because of the suffering that I am going through and my present critical condition here.

Trust matters so much to me in this transaction, this is the reason why I wanted to meet each other first in other to establish and build the trust for each other, but since you cannot travel for now because of your busy schedule, I just hope and pray that everything will be fine and you will receive the funds and help me to come over to meet you.

This morning I have contacted the security company concerning the actual procedure we will follow so that they will release the box and send it to you through Diplomatic Delivery Services. The security company operation manager has given me all the information that I need to know and what they expect from us before they will release the box and send it to you through a Diplomat.

First of all I have decided to furnish you with all the security company documents which my late father gave to me before he died. The documents confirm the availability of the box containing the money with the security company here in Abidjan and the condition stated on the documents which we need to follow before the will release the box. I have attached the following documents:

(1) The Certificate of deposit of box

(2) The confirmation of the deposit of the box

(3) The deposit Agreement containing the terms and condition of the deposit and the procedures for withdrawal of the box.

(4) The Deed of Lodge of the box

(5) The Demurrage Invoice receipt confirming the amount my father paid as the first initial security deposit fees for the box and the numbers of years this payment will last.

I want you to print out these documents and carefully go through them and you will find out that in all the documents they stated and registered the contents of the box as Family treasures, vital documents and African Artwork. Just like I explained to you in my last email, this information will make you to understand that the security company doesn’t know that there is money inside the box, this is one of the major reasons why we must be very careful for security reasons, you should try and maintain the confidentiality this transaction demands, don’t tell anybody about this money in the box, The secret of the knowledge of the contents of the box must strictly between you and me only.

Meanwhile, from the contents of the documents you will understand that my late father paid the initial security demurrage fees for a period of 7 years totaling €51,240.00 at the rate of €20 each day as stated in all the documents. And this first initial deposit payment has already expired since 5th of January 2008. Therefore the Security Company Operation manager has informed me that before they will release the box and deliver to you through Diplomatic Delivery Services, we must pay the outstanding security demurrage fee which the box has accumulated from 5th of January 2008 till 5th of March 2010.

This condition is clearly stated in the security company agreement bond, this means that an outstanding security demurrage fee of €15,780.00 will be paid to the security company before they I will sign the release Bond for the box and they will then deliver it to your address through Diplomatic Delivery Services. Without we paying and clearing this outstanding security company demurrage fee, they operation manager will never authorize and release and delivery of the box to you.

As you know, I cannot tell them that there is 9.5 Million USD in the box because if they happens to know about it, my life will be in a great danger, and I will lose the money because they security company does not keep cash money. They will see it as money laundry and report me to the government who will in turn seize the money or the security company people can equally kill me to take way the money, so as you can see, It is important for us to maintain confidently by paying them the outstanding security fee to protect the money in the box, until they will deliver the box to you. This is the reason why we must keep the existence of the money in the box highly confidential and this was also the reason why my late father did not declare to them that there is money in the box.

Please, as you can see that the only problem that I have in getting the box from the Security Company is the outstanding security demurrage fee (€15,780.00) which is equivalent to US$22,300.00. I don’t have this kind of money for now, this is the main reason why I contacted you for you to come and help me in securing this box from the security company as my late father former business associates, which was the main reason why I wanted you to come down here and see this for yourself.
But since you cannot come, Please, I appeal to you to try and pay the US$22,300.00 to the security company to pay off the outstanding security charges and comfortably secure the delivery of the box to your address in INDIA by Diplomatic Delivery Services. When the diplomat will deliver the box, you open it and collect back your money, then send some money to me before you will deposit the rest in your bank account for investment purpose. Note: I have the keys to the box which my late father gave to me together with these documents, I will send the keys to you through DHL Courier service as soon as we pay the security company the outstanding demurrage fee, so that you will have the keys to the box in your hands before the arrival of the diplomat and the box.

After you receive the box, you will assist me to obtain entry Visa to come and meet you so that I will resettle my life and continue my education while you will oversee the investment of the funds. Remember that I promise to give you 20% of the total 9.5 Million USD for your assistance.

These is the contact of the security company operation manager try and contact him for you to confirm all the information that I have given to you concerning the box and the procedure for release and send it to you through Diplomatic Delivery System.

I have already told the operation manager everything about you, I told him that you are my late father’s former business partner that you want to help me in securing this box from them because of my late father’s business documents and agreement in the box. Please don’t let him know that there is money in the box. While contacting the manager, it is very important that you Quote the following reference numbers for the proper identification of the box; SECURITY CONSIGNMENT NO : SGSCI /0698010-011.
