Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Dear Stedson,

Thanks for your message and your readiness to assist me. I am grateful for your kindness and would want to respond to your message for a better understanding of the situation. God bless you.

The money is not in the bank, so I do not need your bank account information. The money is in physical cash packed inside a metallic box and deposited with the security vault company in Europe , and that is why I need your assistance to retrieve the metallic box from the vault company, and to invest the money in a profitable investment for the future. I don't know anything about investment, so I need your assistance.

In response to your questions, I plan to finish my education in the USA . As soon as the money is safely deposited under your care, I will make all arrangements for my travel to meet you in the USA . I will continue my education which I stopped as a result of my father’s death. I am a student of economics in the University of Cocody Abidjan before my father died last year 2010. I wish to continue my major in economics when I enrol into a good university in the USA . I do not have a passport now, but I can apply for a passport which will be issued to me for my trip to meet you in the USA .

Before I give you more information, I would want you to send me your complete names and copy of your photograph for recognition and your assurance that money will be protected under your care. The money is my inheritance from my late father; I require absolute sincerity from you.

Find attached copy of my photograph for recognition. I will expect to receive the information requested above to enable me give you more details regarding the deposit. You are entitled to 20% of the total amount as compensation for your assistance in this transaction.

God bless you. Please tell me more about you, are you married with kids? How old are you? What kind of work do you do? I am sorry for any inconvenience(s) these questions may cause you.

I will be waiting to hear from you.

Best regards,

Mary.
