Subject: My introduction
Dearest,
I was very happy to see your message today. How are you? I hope that the lord is doing his marvelous work in your life. How is the weather in your country today, it is very cold here now. Based on the request i sent to you, i am happy to introduce myself fully to you. My name is Benita Fuanda Maurice. I am (26yrs) but i strongly believe that age doesn' t matter in a real relationship,I am from Sinkor in Monrovia, Liberia. I am 5.11ft tall, Chocolate in complexion, i am also single( never married ). I am presently residing here in Dakar as a result of the civil war that was fought in my country some years back. I am sure you have an idea about the crisis. I am from a happy family of four, my father, my mother,me and my little brother, myself being the elder of the two children and my younger brother Isaac who is 10 years younger to me. My late dad was
a plantation farm owner and a Cocoa Exporter then before the war. It is difficult and sorrowful for me to tell this story but there is no better way of introducing myself without having to tell you of this incidents that changed my life. Rebels attacked our house one afternoon, killed my whole family in cold blood and vandalized our house. I was lucky because i was in school then. When i returned in the evening, i can not talk of the horrible atmosphere i met. It was only me that is alive now and i managed to pick one or two important things and joined other people who were heading for safety in a near by country Guinea Conakry, i stayed there for some time before some of us who does not have a relative were moved into Senegal as refugees. I am leaving now in Senegal as a refugee under a Reverend father' s care and i am using his computer to send this message to you. I would like to know more about you too. Your likes and dislikes, your hobbies and what
you are doing presently.
I will tell you more also about myself in my next mail. Attached here is my picture.
Hoping to hear from you soonest
Yours forever,
Benita.

Subject: Loving you with all trust
Hello My Dear Friend ,
Thanks for your reply and how is your health?hope everything is alright, actually I was really excited to read your reply to my last message. Like i told you, i am residing presently here in the Church camp which took responsibility of harboring refugees for humanity, unlike some lucky ones among us, i don' t have any relatives now whom i can go to, all my relatives ran away in the middle of the war, the only person i know here now is Rev. Thomas who is the pastor of the church and also the camp administrator. I am leaving in the women hostel which is for the female refugees as there is also one for the male. My dear, situation can change the life of a man within a very short time as i used to live comfortably with my family not knowing of this wicked future awaiting me, the only thing that gives me hope to
forge on is GOD, for keeping me alive till date, i know he has a plan for me.
I would really love to speak with you on the phone but unfortunately, i do not own a phone here, the only way you can reach me on the phone is through the pastor' s phone, his telephone number is (+221-77-438-5437 <tel:%28%2B221-77-438-5437>). If you call and tell him that you want to speak with me he will send for me in the hostel to answer your call. As a refugee here, the law makes it very difficult for us as we are denied of our normal rights or privilege to any thing legal, be it money or whatever because it is against the law of this country. I want to go back to my studies because i only attended my first year in the university where i intended to read law before the tragic incident that lead to my being in this situation now.
I know that our friendship have not lasted but a problem shared is half solved and the urgency of the issue i want to reveal to you forced me to
voice out this confidential matter to you but please and please, try and make it a top secret to only yourself as you are the only one i am ever revealing this matter to and i hope i can trust you on it,i have my late father' s statement of account, deposit certificate and death certificate here with me which i will send to you later because when he was alive he deposited some amount of money in a bank located in Canada and my name was used on the deposit as next of kin to the account, the amount in question is $2.3M (Two Million three Hundred Thousand Dollars) So i will like you to help me transfer this money to your account. My intention is that once the money is released to you, you can send some money for me to get my freedom permit, traveling documents and air ticket to come over to your country and start a new life.
Like i said earlier, i will like you to keep this matter to yourself alone as i am afraid of loosing my life and the
money if people gets to know about it. This is one major reason why i should to reveal this matter to a foreigner and not people around me. Remember i am giving you all this information due to the trust i am reposing on you. I like honest and understanding people, truthful and a man of vision, truth and hardworking man. Please send more information of yourself like your full names, your address, your phone numbers, i will send the information to the bank to register you as my trustee so they will inform us how to transfer the money to your account. I will also give you more details on this matter when i get your positive answer.
Please i am waiting to hear from you soonest,
Yours sincerely
Benita .

Dearest beloved,
I
thank you for your last message and your way of understanding my
matter. Your encouragement and your kindness all reassured me that i never made a mistake by picking you to help me through this matter. I
know that it would be very difficult for an ungodly person to believe
that one can trust a stranger with a top secret like mine, but i have my
reasons, i believe in the principle that it is your closest friend that
knows your weakness and can kill you when you do not expect, but for a
Godly person, you would take it up as a challenge. I know you will treat
my case with the fear of GOD. I believe by your reading this message,
you will understand everything more clearly. For now, I want to detail you more on why i want us to
handle this issue quickly enough to save my future. There is a reason
why i have to
start telling you all this because as i told you before, this is a big
secret which i find difficult to disclose to anyone, even the pastor who
is in charge of this camp. I have made efforts before on how the bank
will let me use the money but they told me that i am not eligible to
claim the money because i am under refugee status and that the law of
their country forbids a refugee to handle such issue unless i regain my
citizenship and present them with my international passport or a valid
national identity. That was about a year now but i was surprised when
the bank contacted me recently to inform me that they will soon start
the annual audit of all accounts and that this may lead to the reverting
of my father' s money to the government of Canada because the account
have not been serviced for years now. They said that it has reached the
maximum years it would stay if it is not serviced. It was the bank that
gave me the only option with which they
can release the fund to me due to my present status. They advised that i
should present a trusted person who can stand for me as trustee so that
they will release and transfer out the money to him before the audit
commence. Please i do not want my father' s hard earned money to go to
the Canadian government just like that. This is the only future that i
have and the urgency of the matter is tearing my heart apart. Please i
can not even start telling you of the kind of condition i find myself
now but the only thing i seek from you is to give me your trust and
handle this issue with me in truth and honesty as you could handle your
own personal matters. The bank directed on how we will go about it, they
gave me a form which they instructed that my trustee must fill out and
send back to them to commence the claim. I
have attached the form to this message, so print it out, fill where
necessary and sign, then scan it and email it to the bank transfer
operations contact email as you will find at the bottom of this message. Please,
i want you to know that i will now be waiting to hear from you and
anything you discuss with the bank, try and update me with it.

Subject: Thank you so much for this good news
My dearest Beloved,
How are you today my love? I pray and hope that you are feeling very fine. I received your messages and also the one you got from the bank. I downloaded the message and read it carefully, after reading the message, i was so excited to see that you have heard from the bank and that they have confirmed to you that the money is there in their custody. I also saw the names of some papers they asked you to provide as they stated in the message. They requested a scanned copy of your identity card or passport copy. From the four papers they are requesting for, i have here with me the Statement of account and my father' s death certificate confirming his death.
I will scan them and send to you in my next message. The power of attorney which they need is to be obtained from the high court here in Senegal through a lawyer according to the bank request and that is what we will need to see how to get because you are not living here and i do not think you can come here to go and get them from the court as the time given is short. I myself can not be allowed to go to the high court or deal with any lawyer due to my refugee status as i have told you before, so i am completely restricted from any legal activity, this is why they need a trustee who will represent me to transfer out the money. I will need to talk to the reverend father to know if there is any good and honest lawyer he can recommend for us who will represent you here in getting the two documents for us from the high court. The reverend is not in the office now, he is busy in the church new site and returns here in the camp in
the evenings, i will rush back to my hostel now to get those two papers so i can scan them and send to you after getting information from the reverend father, i will email you to inform you of his response. I am happy with all you are doing for me and very soon, we shall be through with this transfer and you will surely see how i appreciate all you did for me when i come over to join you. I will get back to you very soon, remain blessed.
Your Benita

Hi dear one and only,
How
is everything with you? I hope you are in sound health. I am sorry that
it took me this longer before i could get back to you again but i had
to wait for the reverend father to get the reliable person and
information we need. I have spoken with the reverend father to know if
there is any good and honest lawyer he can recommend for us and i am
happy that he could give me a good information. Luckily, the reverend
father recommended a lawyer for us whom he said is a very good lawyer
and a member of the Senegalese legal association. He said he is a member
of his church and a very good Christian. He also gave me the address
and contact information of the lawyer. So now please write to the lawyer
and request from him to help with representing you here in Senegal to
get a document from the
high court to transfer fund to your account because you can not come
down here for getting the paper as it is needed from the high court of
Senegal. You should forward the message you received from the bank to
him too so that he can understand exactly what the bank wants from you
and inform him of the particular paper he is to get because we have
other papers and the days given by the bank for all the papers to be
submitted for the transfer. Below is the contact of the lawyer so that
you can send him email immediately.

i promised in my last message, i have attached scanned copies of both
the statement of account and my father' s death certificate to this

will be relying on your updates to tell me whatever you hear from the
lawyer after writing him. Remain blessed for your kindness and you can
call the lawyer to make him treat the issue quick enough please.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Following my last communication in which i assured you of my proceeding to register you as my international client and also apply for the power of attorney, i have registered you successfully with the Senegalese legal board and also applied for the power of attorney. I was given the attached file in response as requirements to getting the power of attorney. I could not get back to you until now.
Based on the facts outlined in the attached file, you are to contact me immediately on how to make payment of the charges (USD$ 1,450) to the registrar. All other requirements from you as indicated in the attached file are highly needed as a matter of urgency. For better clarification, i am noting the requirements bellow:
(i) Client' s full names and address
(ii) Scanned copy of client' s international identity card as mark of recognition
(iii) Name and contact information of the bank where the fund is been transferred from
With all things being equal, it will take two days to get everything in order and your compliance to the payment of the charges will go a long way to facilitate my services to you.
Finally, i will like to use this medium to inform you on my service charges too which you will be required to pay to me once the transaction is concluded. My charges for this service will be USD$ 800.00.
NOTE: Call me on my numbers (+221 77 383 2558 <tel:%28%2B221%2077%20383%202558>) as soon as you receive this urgent message to discuss the payment and how to handle the issue quick to meet the time demand of the bank in Canada.

Subject: I have just read this message
My dearest ,
Good day,I miss you when something really good happens, because you' re the one I want to share it with. I miss you when something is troubling me, because you' re the one who understands me so well. I miss you when I laugh and cry, because I know that you are the one that makes my laughter grow, and my tears disappear. I miss you all the time, but I miss you the most when I lay awake at night, and think of all the wonderful times that we will spend with each other for they will be the best and most memorable times of my life. I am sorry that i have not
been able to email you since through the weekend, please when such happen, do not be offended, my reason for this delay is because i can only get access to the computer in the office of the reverend father. Since Friday he has been on outside missionary service and did not open his office. It is one of the major communication problems we face here as refugees. We can not go out of the camp on our own and even when the office of the reverend is open, i can only be give about 15 minutes to check on your message and email you, that is also if his secretary is less busy with the computer. Thank you for trying to call yesterday. I received your messages and it was a surprise to me that you were asked to pay that huge money in getting the power of attorney. I spoke with the reverend father about the matter to find out if it is right to follow the instruction of the lawyer and to seek help. The reverend called the lawyer just before i am sending you this
message to ask him and know everything. The lawyer explained to him and informed him that he is not the one requesting for the fee of 1,450 dollars because it is needed by the high court to be able to give us the power of attorney. Please dear, you know how helpless i am here and the reverend already told me of his financial difficulties, please help me and bear it in mind that anything you may spend as the fees will not go in vain because you will first take it from the money when they send the money into your account. Please dear, i know that this may turn a difficult situation for you but do it because of me. It is a sacrifice that will help build our future together forever. I am helpless and have no one that will help me except you. Please dear i am waiting to hear from you to know what you have done with the lawyer, the time given by the bank is running out and it is disturbing to me.
I look forward to your update.
Remain blessed.

I received your previous messages but i ignored them because you can not be serious telling me you want to claim and transfer as much as 2.3 million dollars but you do not have 1,450 to pay for the power of attorney which authorizes you to claim and transfer the fund. I do not involve in childish transactions.
If you are ready for me to work for you, you inform me, i can help you but not that i can handle all for you. If you can come up with half of the needed money, i will try to complete it for you. Normally, i was supposed to even request at least half of my own service fees from you before even starting to do anything for you but due to the fact that it was the reverend who recommended my office, i had to start working with hope that you will appreciate my good effort.
