Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Although I am not comfortable discussing the content of my email on the internet because my contact might be strange to you hence we have never met before and the only means of contacting you is via internet. Pardon me if I disturbed you. You are being contacted because of my condition and the present situation of my country Cote d’Ivoire . Most importantly, i am contacting you because i want to relocate abroad as soon as possible to the country you are; And your profile attracted me mostly to contact you for this.

I am Helen  Philip; from Cote d’Ivoire . I am a double victim of the Civil war in Cote d’Ivoire . My dad was among the dead victims; my mum had earlier died 5 years ago. I am the only Daughter of my late parents. I want to leave my country and relocate to your country as soon as possible. I am not happy again staying here in Africa mainly because of the double predicament the civil war has caused me. I lost my dad and became an orphan, secondly, because of the evil plots of my uncles over my inheritances; My 2 uncles who are supposed to be my only strength have taken control of my late father’s properties and have already shared them amidst fight between themselves. Individually, they also keep pestering me for the documents to his finances; I do not want this because I won’t be safe in their hands; they can have the properties for now.

My late father deposited the sum of (US$ 850,000) in one of the banks in Cote d' Ivoire , presently this fund is in the bank and I only knew about this money because i saw the document in one of my late dad documents. I had run out of home with this document to the war victim’s center in Bonoa another city far away from home closer to our border with Ghana a neighbouring Country; I am now taken refuge there. The fund in the bank will be my only hope in life as a man in the future and not to those wicked uncles of mine who wants to ruin me. I do not know how to handle this huge amount of money. I am only 17 years old and currently a High school graduate. I want you to help me make claims and to receive this money in the bank on my behalf, make arrangements for my immigrations, and to take me as your own Daughter, guide me in a good university education and investments. I was really moved to contact you.

If you can be of assistance to me, I will be pleased to offer you 30% of the total fund. This mail is very urgent, let me know if you can do this or not and in a matter of urgency. Thanks.

May God bless you and your family.
Helen  Philip.
