Good day to you. Thank you for responding to my email proposal. Firstly, I would respectfully request that you keep the contents of this mail confidential and respect the integrity of the information you come by as a result of this mail. I contact you independently and no one is informed of this communication. I salute your courage in helping a marine who is sincerely in need of your help. I do hope that I am able to become part of civilization again sometime soon. I say this because I have faced a lot of horrors here and have seen my comrades and friends either killed or fatally injured, you begin to wonder what the value of human life is when you see people around you doing desperate things to kill their fellow humans. I do not know how to draw a picture of the happenings here and do not intend to start painting one as it won't be a pretty sight. I just pray that majority of us here, US Soldiers, get to go back home to their families alive without any unpleasant luggage both bodily and mentally. To lay down ones life for his fellow human and for love of Country is the Ultimate sacrifice and this I have sworn to do as a Marine Corps Officer but do bear it in mind that there is nothing that can compensate our families for the horrors that we the US Soldiers go through in Afghanistan.

I hope I can trust you as a family. I happen to be in possession of part of the funds mentioned in the website you may have visited. I think it would be wise to tell you all about how I became in possession of the above mentioned funds. In the very first week of Iraq war, my superior officer, Command Sgt. Maj. Jerry L. Wilson on whose command I was, was among the first U.S Air Force Troop that took over the Iraq military government buildings and the Central Bank of Iraq. In the course of the invasion, several millions of U.S Dollars was found scattered in some hidden places around Baghdad including huge quantities of raw gold bars. My superior alongside other commanders were drafted to convey the Trunk Boxes containing the cash for safety in order to enable them ensure proper accountability of the funds.
