Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Thanks for your email.

I need a private house for my family as we are going to relocate after my retirement from the government service. I want the house in any good environment with large compound for car park and if possible with swimming pool. If you secured it in your capital city that will be preferable or any other good city that you may recommend. I need 5bedroom masters throwout and 2seating room. I will be very happy and grateful to you if you can assist me to achieve this project.

I never knew or have any idea that you never receive your fund until now. I am not in charge of remitting fund to beneficiaries account, I only approves your payment and instruct the remittance department to remit the fund to the beneficiary bank account and since nobody informed me anything again about your fund, I believed you have received the fund as I approved and I never contacted you personally before concerning your payment, it is very sad that unknown people are impersonating my name for their selfish interest .

On my investigation after I received your email, I found out that the problem you are having in receiving your fund is because you haven't sign the 14 original hard-copies of your fund release bond here in the remittance department of the central bank. I don’t know why nobody told you about it that your fund release bond must be signed before any payment can be made to you. Without signing the bond, you will continue having the same problems in receiving your fund and those criminals that kidnap you are not officers of the central bank but impostors. You need to come or hire accredited attorney of the central bank to sign the documents on your behalf so that you will be recognized by the government as the rightful owner/beneficiary of the fund and the government will gives their approvals to the central bank to transfer the fund to your account without delay. Such fund cannot be transfer out of this country without the government approvals. If you can make it to meet with me in London to sign the documents as I do come to London every two weeks to make cash payment.

This is why people have been taking advantage of you because you did not sign your fund release bond and the government is not aware of anything happening to you and your payment even your coming to Nigeria is unknown to the government. It is only when your fund release bond are signed, I will be in full control to make the fund transfer to your account as you will provide. Once you get the documents signed, leave the rest for me if you are willing to help my family, I will do my best to help you receive your fund.

I also noticed that there was an attempt to divert your fund to an account with HSBC bank India. Are you aware of it?

I am so sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you and your family, I am assuring you that I will correct any problem that stopped your payment to make sure that you receive your fund in few days from now.

I am waiting to hear from you.

Yours faithfully,

Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
