Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

I am indicating your interest and I think it will be wise for me to shed more lights about my proposal to you, so you could get a better grasp of the situation.In May of 1994, when I was Personal Account Officer, the deceased came to me to engage in business discussions, she told me that, she had a financial portfolio of 4 Million B.Pounds Sterling, which she wished to have us turn over (invest) on her behalf and the money was spun around various opportunities and made attractive margins for first nine (9) months of operation, the accrued profit, interest and capital at this point stands at over 9 Million Pounds Sterling. The identification of the body could not be established but the airlines stated that she was on the plane. Since her death, no one has come forward to lay claim to this money as her heir, because the only one I know, is her suitor who also died in the same air crash (May their souls rest in peace), we cannot release the fund from his account unless someone applies for claim as the next-of-kin to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines.

Upon this discovery, I now seek your permission to have you stand as a next of kin to the deceased, as all documentations will be carefully worked out by me for the funds to be released in your favour as the beneficiary's next of kin and it is on this note that I decided to seek for whose name shall be used as the next of kin/beneficiary to this funds, the sum and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year at the rate of 19% per annum and as at the last value of investment on maturity, it was 9,320,000,000 (Nine Million, Three hundred and twenty thousand B. Pounds Sterling).

For this ,the amount in USD is 14,548,834.79 USD and I have proposed a reasonable 40% percentage of the total funds as your share and as an expression of my gratitude for your assistance and partnership, thus encouraging you to guarantee that my share of the funds will be secured and transferred to me as when required. I shall require some information and a brief profile of yourself and upon receipt of the information, I shall immediately begin the processes which will lead to the approval and release of the funds to you as the bonafide executor and next of kin of the depositor going by the documents that will be secured.

After all the necessary documentation for the funds release are met and satisfied, an approval shall be given by the legal department of my bank for the eventual release of the funds to your nominated local account and transfer a certain percentage of my share of the funds to me through an account that I shall give to you at that time.

According to practice, the bank will by the end of the financial year, broadcast a request for statements of claim to our branch, failing to receive viable claims, they will most probably revert the deposit back to the Financial Service Authority, this will result in the money entering our bank's accounting system or be confiscated as unclaimed estate by the Financial Service Authority and the portfolio will be out of my hands and out of the private banking branch, therefore time is of the essence.

The world of private banking especially is fraught with huge rewards for those who occupy certain offices and oversee certain portfolios. You should have begun by now to put together the general direction of what I want to propose. You may not know this but people like myself who have made tidy sums out of comparable situations run the whole private banking sector.

I receive your email and I want you to understand that, I cannot take up with all the expense from my end due to the fact that, we are partners and you are also receiving 40% share from the total funds after the eventual transfer of the funds to your Bank account in South America.

I am expecting the funds release document from the record department of my Bank which gives the right to transfer to your Bank account in South Americaand I can only have this funds release document only when my lawyer submit the required document to the Bank, so that it will be verified and be processed for the funds to be transferred.

So I only need your full co-operation in order to achieve the success of this project and be informed that, our management is ready to approve this payment to whoever that, has correct information to this very account, if you are able to handle such fund in strict confidence and trust according to my instruction and advice for our mutual benefits because this opportunity will never come again in our life.
