Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Dear friend,

May I use this opportunity to welcome you to my world. I am very excited to receive your message in my mail box. My name is Mabel Bemba. Presently I'm living in Dakar Senegal as result of my parent's death who were killed during political crises last year in my country Cote d' Ivoire.

I'm 23 years old girl and only daughter of my late parent, I am respectful, kind, sympathetic and faithful with my friend. I studied mass communication in the university but I dropped out when my parent were murdered. My late father was a business man and a politician while my mother was a government employee. So my dear friend I will be happy to know more about you, what you do for a living and where you live.

Yours sincerely,

I suppose you had a wonderful sleep last night and woke up this day with sound good health. I think I should use this opportunity to tell you little about my family. My late father was an international business man who was into real estate development while my late mother was a civil servant. I am the only child of my parent. My father was a great philanthropist who does not like to behold the face of the suffering of the poor ones and he always came to their help but the enemy of progress did not want this to continue because many of them felt that my father was interested in contesting high political office and that was actually what led to the death of my father because in different occasion he disagreed with them and always maintained that government should be allowed to run by honest politician.

Immediately after the death of my parent, my uncle whom I trusted so much disappointed me with his negative attitude towards my late father's wealth. I was tortured several time by him to surrender all my late father's bank account documents especially the only account in London which my late father deposited the sum of 3.8 million dollars which he intended to invest into real estate before he died. So I refused to surrender to his request because I am the beneficiary of the money in question and my late father used my name as next of kin which I have confirmed from the bank in London as
well as from the documents in my possession.

In additional to this, I am disclosing this secrete to you because I need your maximum support to claim my inheritance from the bank and also to assist me invest this fund in any business of your choice since I have no knowledge of business terrain. I have written the bank and demanded for the release of the fund to me but I was told that I must met some bank's requirement as the law demand before I could be eligible to receive the money and one of the difficulties am encountering now is because of my refugee status in Senegal since it is against the law of Senegal for a refugee to own a bank account or stand for any transaction but in advisory letter from the bank, I was authorized to appoint somebody who will stand on my behalf so that the bank could invoke the law and delegate a power of attorney to the person to act on my behalf. Please don't fail me as I'm looking forward to your urgent reply so that I can provide you with the bank contact email to enable you write them and find out what will be your responsibility in this transaction to help me out.

Bearing in mind that your assistance is highly needed I propose 20% of the total sum of money to you for expected assistance. Bear in mind that once the transfer takes place in your account, you will take some money out from it and send to me which I will use to obtain my traveling documents to relocate to your country where you will help me and invest this fund. Presently I have no phone but you can reach me through the welfare administrator in this refugee, he is a pastor but I have taken permission from him to be receiving calls from you. So when you call ask him the best time to speak with me. this is the number +221771735025.

sincerely yours,
