Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

PROPOSAL TO COMPLETE YOUR OUTSTANDING PAYMENT.

We are solicitors and attorneys-at-law, writing you regarding your outstanding payment with the Government of Nigeria. Knowledge of this payment came through to us courtesy the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) first quarter foreign payment Annual review exercise for 2013 just completed last week.

While we believe the claim as bona fide, the proposal here is being presented to you in confidence as our corporate initiative to help you resolve this outstanding claim with the concerned institutions here.
Records at our disposal do indicate that you may have done substantially enough to get the payment. But you have apparently been dealing with either non-professionals, less-than-official and/or dishonest persons. This has been responsible for your non-payment to date. As a result, the paying authorities have had to place your payment under very strict “CAUTION NOTICE”. Until this notice is vacated, you may never get paid regardless how much is spent in time and money.

As legal professionals and by virtue of being physically available, we are better placed to undertake the completion of this payment on your behalf.   Should this proposition meet you well, please do not hesitate to get back to us in earnest.
My personal apologies however for eating into your time, in case it is to the contrary.

Sincerely,
Justice D.A. Kobani (SAN), LLM, BL
