We are sorry for the delay, we had technical difficulty, you are advised to track the baggage now.
Your baggage is presently at International Airport - Egypt However, for
the past few hours the diplomat has been having some confrontations with
Egyptian intelligence officials stationed in the airport, this occurred
at loading bay. The intelligence agency is responsible for providing
national security intelligence assessment to senior Egyptian
policymakers.
They said London, where we lifted the baggage does not have
'extensive' diplomatic relations with your country in acceptance of
Diplomatic Baggage unless it pertains to 'round table dialogue'
therefore, the baggage must be inspected in order to know the real
content but if they open it we can sue them to court and claim heavy
Damages running into millions. It can only be opened if you are there.
We have contacted- the Chief Justice of Egypt to discuss Egypt's
diplomatic agreement with all countries of the world which gives right
to any diplomat to enter Egypt with any baggage. He noted that Egypt
does not have extensive diplomatic agreement with London where the
baggage was shipped from, for this reason he will have to consult with
appropriate authority in order to know if we would have to present any
document from government in London or if we have to return the baggage.
We are now waiting for the Chief Justice to get back to us. In a nutshell, here are the two options:
1.
You can come for inspection of the baggage at the International Airport
to know the real content. After the inspection it will be allowed to
enter your country without any form of condition or restriction
2. We are now waiting for the Chief Justice to know if we are to
present any document from London or if we are to return it because Egypt
does not have extensive diplomatic relations with London that
stipulates acceptance of diplomatic baggage.
Note that if we are told to return the baggage, it can still be
allowed in if you can come for inspection. The Chief Justice will get
back to us today to enable us figure out what to do next, remain calm
till we get back to you.
