Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Dear Young,

This is a personal email directed to you and I request that it should be treated as such. I am  Kenny Green, a lawyer and solicitor at law.

I am the personal attorney/sole executor to the late Mr. Mark Young, hereinafter referred to as' my client' who worked as an independent oil merchant in my country UK before he died in a car crash with his immediate family on the 5th of Nov,2005. I carried out this search  on you and I am contacting you because you bear a similar last name with that of my late client and the further reasons are as follows:

Since the death of my client in Nov,2005,I have written several letters to his embassy with an intent to locate any of his extended relatives whom shall be claimants/beneficiaries of his abandoned personal estate and all such efforts have been to no avail.

However, going by the recent publications by the Trustee bank in which my client deposited the sum of £9.8m (pounds), I fear a likely winding up proceedings in the coming months. I seek your consent therefore, to present you to the trustees as my client' s next of kin since you bear a similar last name with him so that you can help repatriate the money to a foreign account and I promise a fair share of 60%-40% in our favour 60% for you at the end of the transfer.

If you are very interested, contact me through my  email address and I shall appraise you with the full details.I want to assure that I have all the requirements to execute this claim.

Like I said, I require only a solemn  confidentiality on this. Please let me have your opinion as soon as possible and send to me your telephone and fax numbers to enable us discuss further on this transaction.

Best regards,
Kenny Green.

Mr

Hello Young,

How are you? Thank you for your urgent response to my mail, i completely appreciate your concern and i assure you this is very legitimate and if we put in our best efforts we shall achieve our goal to our benefits. Please i want you to read carefully as I am going to explain in details my initial mail to you. I have since carried out a search on his actual extended family ties especially in your country through your embassy here in London but all efforts have been to no avail hence my contacting you. I will advice you to call me after reading this mail or you can send me your phone number and the best time to call you as i really want to talk to you to be sure i am dealing with a matured person.

I had contacted you to solicit your honest assistance in profiling funds belonging to my late client. I want you to consider the details so you could understand the further reasons I need your cooperation. I am giving you my word that all information' s passed down to me will be kept CONFIDENTIAL between the both of us. Note that the British legal system releases claim only on the criteria of documentation. That is whoever provides the documents that confer the right to claim according the existing laws here is eligible.

My mail to you was written as a matter of last resort because of the circumstances surrounding this claim right now. Late Mark Young was an oil merchant and he had oil dealings around Europe and Africa. He died in 2005 at 54 along side his wife, Maria, 46, and their only daughter, Katharine, 11. They were Christian. He lived most of his years here in the UK but traveled often. I served as his private attorney for the last eleven years preceding his death, just after the birth of Katharine. His father was John Young an American citizen also who lived and worked in Belgium where Lee was born and raised before he joined Chevron UK as a contract staff in 1976. Mark didn' t tell me much about his extended family as he knew not much about it. He was a very simple and loving man.

I understand that you may not be in anyway related to my client or you may be related, but you need to understand the main reason I contacted you. I contacted you because after the death of my late client, I was informed by the finance company to search for any member of his extended family to put up a claim, or who could be so represented as managers or trustees to his deposited funds with them which stands due to the fact that he died with his immediate family members. After preliminary efforts of search that came to no avail, I was given an ultimatum to look for some one to come for the claim or have the funds liquidated and made un serviceable in accordance with existing laws because it will be assumed that no member of his family is alive.

However, it might interest you to know that, after a thorough investigation in the finance company, I found out that some members of the company are currently planning to divert this fund in their selfish interest and only want to use the excuse that since I am not able to find someone to make the claim, the money should be made un serviceable and that means reverting the fund to the Government while the company retains a percentage of it.

After unraveling their plans and professional consideration on my part, I decided to look for someone credible, with the same last name with my late client, to apply for this claim due to the fact that I have at my possession the legal documents that are very important and confers the right to claim. This definitely will be requested by them and because it is the only thing that could confer the right to claim according to the British law NOT even when a true line of relation is found. If the documents cannot be provided nothing could be done! I feel and know that you will be able to make this claim SUCCESSFULLY because of your last name which is the same as that of my late client' s and as a result of this I do not want the company to be aware that I contacted you first in order to prevent them from going into much investigations on whom you actually are and that can put the success of this transaction on the line. Though i know they won' t go that far, I have been in the system for long and i understand the policies of private banking, considering the conservative nature of the system here they won' t spend money on any investigation as far as they confirm the documents authentic. I want you to be rest assured that this is legal with no risk involved, since all the legal documents that gives you the right to make the claim is available.

I want you to know that I require only a matured mind to understand all I am saying. I am taking my time to explain all these to you now because I want you to see the reasons why this transaction has to be kept really confidential in order for us to be able to achieve our goals neatly. NOTE that if they request to know how you came to know that your family member (Young' s) had such an amount of funds with them and who contacted you, which I am not sure they will ask, but in order to be on the safer side, if you are asked, be confident to tell them that the extended family discovered some documents in his archives showing that Mr. Mark Young lodged such funds with them and that is why you have been sent by the paternal family to contact the bank. Anyway, further deliberations will be held on this as we proceed.

I want you to know that I have these documents to show to you as proof but I cannot release them for your perusal now for security reasons until I have attained your confidence. I will provide you with any information you need as we proceed.

Please bear in mind that you have to be really sure if you are going ahead or not for I do not want to jeopardize the success of this transaction which means so much to me at the moment. I will wait for your response and please do not forget about the discreet nature of this transaction. I will advice you give me a call after going through this mail. Remember to add your country international dialing out code before you add my numbers.

Take note of the mode of sharing after a second thought, 45% for me 45% for you and 10% for expenses that might be incurred during the course of the transaction. If you have gone through this mail and you feel it is well understood, Please get back to me telling me if you are willing to go ahead or not so I can give you an outlined step on how to proceed.

NB: Please note that in as much as we expect to benefit at the end of this transaction we fight for a just reason so i plead with you to consider this with the best of your mind.

Thanks.

Hello Young,

Thank you very much for your response, i truly appreciate your time and concern. I need you to know that total trust and confidence is highly needed for us to achieve our aim. This is my 28th year in legal practice here in London so i assure you of the legitimacy and very high positivity of our success if we handle things correctly. I have properly evaluated this transaction and i am professionally convinced of the safety, i have a loved family and a hard earned career to protect.

I have attached my British passport and call to bar certificate to this mail for proper identification and also to gain your confidence. Please, i urge you to protect my interest as i will protect yours in the course of this transaction. You have my full assurance that i have the required documents to confer you the right to this claim and by the existing British legal system this is a give away case because there is no conflict in the family!

You can call me any time if you need further clarification, am a master of myself (lol)! I run a personal chambers, Kenny Green & Partners, old Kent. As we proceed we shall be better acquainted. I did work with Coleridge Chambers, 177 Corporation St, Birmingham, but things didn' t move fine for me a young British Asian lawyer in Britain, my accent and Asian look didn' t really help in the early days! My mum is from Singapore where my parents met. I had to start up my chambers with the help of a few old college friends and we are running a successful civil law chambers. We provide private legal services.

I truly appreciate your confidence and i want you to understand one thing, despite the fact that we all hope to benefit at the end, we also fight a good cause. For this funds to be released within the next 15 working days (counting from the day you apply for the fund release) by the finance company where it is lodged, you have to;

1. Send a written letter of application addressed to the finance company appealing for the release of the late Mark Young funds as a next of kin.

2. A call to the office of the finance company telling them who you are and why you have called. This might not be necessary if they respond quick to the letter of appeal. Following the existing legal proceedings of inheritance cases here in UK it is possible to handle such transaction without an oral interrogation from the bank but only on a circumstance of genuine inconvenience.

The good thing here is we are dealing with a private bank and the knowledge of how these banks do away with late client' s unclaimed funds is no longer hidden so most of these private finance institutions are watching their backs to avoid been listed!  But note that after sending the application, if they do not respond quickly, you will have to call the finance company requesting to speak with the DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL REMITTANCE DEPARTMENT. This i doubt strongly because you shall be attaching a verifiable family death certificate to the application and that will be enough to draw their attention.

Please if you do not know how to go about writing this application, get back to me via e-mail to enable me send a draft to you. Note that after filling this application, you have to send it back to me in other for any necessary correction to be made should the need arise. Thereafter, I will give you the contact of the finance company and a scanned copy of the family death certificate.

Bear in mind that inheritance claims are very common here in London so they treated likely. I have all the legal documents in my possession and we are going to make the best use of them to our advantage. The only guarantee and assurance that this transaction will culminate in the successful release of this fund is for the both of us to work together as a team i.e. learning to CONFIDE and TRUST in no one else. In so doing, we can both play our individual role in this transaction effectively.

NB: Please do understand that the %10 will go to who shouldered the cost of executing this transaction and that will be after the funds must have reflected in your account.

I hope that you handle this situation with the best of your mind. I have tried to call you too but not connecting. I believe it should be the network, I will still call tomorrow to have a chart with you.

Thanks.
