Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Dear sir,
I have been assigned by my colleagues to contact you. I am the Executive Vice President and Group Chief of Staff of the British Petroleum Plc. I am also a member of the audit and compensation committee of BP Plc saddled with the duty to investigate and research contracts awarded by the British Petroleum Plc in 2010 consequent upon the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and make recommendations to the board. In the course of our duty, we discovered among other things, that a staggering sum of ?47,900,000.00 (Great British Pounds) is floating in one of the bank accounts of the British Petroleum Plc unclaimed. After a more thorough investigation, we discovered that the amount was the result of an over-invoiced contract for the supply of Scavenger 2000 Depollution Boats with Voraxial Separators for the cleaning of the oil spills/habours in the Gulf of Mexico, which was originally masterminded by the BP Contract Award Committee with the intention to transfer and use the money. Due to the caliber of people involved i
Upon receipt of your reply confirming your interest in working with us on this project, we will discuss the terms of transaction and give you details as we have carefully worked out the modalities for a safe transfer of the funds.
N / B: Please, this information is strictly confidential and should not be divulged to any other person for security reasons. Thank you for your understanding expected.
Respectfully,
Dev Sanyal, PhD.

Compliments of the season!

I acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your mail and confirmation of interest to work with me as my partner and trustee on this project. I will give you a brief bio-data of myself for you to know me very well and the project details for your understanding.

Bio-data: I have a Master' s degree in Economics and Politics from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University in cooperation with Harvard University, where I was a Joan M. Gillespie Scholar. I am the accountable executive for all of BP’s corporate activities in strategy and long-term planning, risk, economics, competitor intelligence, government and political affairs, policy and group integration and governance. I joined BP in 1989 and have held a variety of international roles in London, Athens, Istanbul, Vienna and Dubai. I was appointed chief executive, BP Eastern Mediterranean Fuels in 1999. I am a non-executive director of Man Group plc. I am also a member of the Accenture Global Energy Board, the International Business Leaders Group of The Duke of Edinburgh' s International Award Foundation and Trustee of the Career Academy Foundation. I am happily married with three children.

Project Details: At this point, it is pertinent to vividly outline the processes involved in this business transaction. First, we will start with the registration of your name, at the " Companies House" as a limited liability company in the United Kingdom with two years record (Tax Clearance Certificates) of business operation in the UK in order to be fit enough to obtain and execute contracts in the UK, which is in line with the provisions of the Allied Matters Act 2006 of England and Wales. In this regard, my lawyer will proceed to the office of the Companies House for the incorporation of your name as a limited liability company in the UK Also, taxes will be paid for the issuance of Tax Clearance Certificates which is the evidence of two years of business operation in the UK from Her Majesty' s Revenue & Customs. This of course will be capital intensive, but we have carefully and technically worked out the modalities to follow to achieve success, and have made enough provisions of money to influence and induce the officials concerned. When these documents have been processed and obtained, we shall transmit them to you via email attachment for your perusal.

Secondly, we will register your name as a grade ' A ' contractor with the British Petroleum (BP). This stage is the easiest of all processes because it is an internal thing and we will put every machinery in motion to achieve this. When this is done, then we will swap documents in all departments concerned at British Petroleum (BP) to reflect your name as a subcontractor to the original contract and bonafide beneficiary of the £47,900,000.00 (Great British Pounds Sterling) now floating in the bank account of the British Petroleum (BP) a Lloyds Bank Plc. We have already secured the collaboration and the approvals of all key officials of all the necessary departments whose interest have been defined and well accommodated in the business transaction. Immediately the internal documentation process have been completed, an application will be forwarded in your favour by us for the claim of the £47,900,000.00 (Great British Pounds Sterling) contract fee, whose payment approval by British Petroleum (BP) will be issued and forwarded to " Her Majesty' s Treasury to instruct and authorize the paying bank (Lloyds Bank Plc) to immediately release the outstanding sum into your assigned bank account. Sincerely, it is very important that I acquaint you with the detailed information above for your understanding. Be rest assured again that this business transaction will be handled in the most professional, legal and legitimate manner with no strings attached.

To tie up all loosed ends and to build a trust bridge between us, I drafted a MEMORANDUM Of UNDERSTANDING/FUNDS MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT in order to protect each parties interest in this business transaction. I have appended my signature to confirm my acceptance to the terms and conditions stated in the agreement document. I kindly request that you study it carefully, fill your information, sign and return copy to me for my record if everything is okay by you.

Attached is the MEMORANDUM Of UNDERSTANDING/FUNDS MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT. Also attached is my ID card.

I am wishing you and your family A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY & PROSPEROUS 2015.

Trustfully,

Dev Sanyal,
