Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Greetings,
My Name is Elizabeth Dipuo Peters, Ms; a citizen of South Africa. Currently the Minister of transport of the Republic of South Africa since 9 July 2013, also a Member of the African National Congress (ANC) and the Women's League National Executive Committee. In the year 2008 I was appointed as a supervisor by the members of the parliament to oversee the project of constructing new diverse rural roads and various national stadiums in Johannesburg and Cape Town where the 2010 FIFA world cup games were played.
During that period of work, I worked with two other supervisors from Department of Land Affairs Strategic Plan in the Republic of South Africa. I and the other supervisors made an over-invoiced amount of USD30, 500,000.00 (Thirty million five hundred thousand United States dollars) from contracts awarded to foreign contractors who have been duly paid on completion of their construction works prior to the commencement of the FIFA world cup games held there.
This money right now is in an escrow account with one of the banks in South Africa, and we have deliberately delayed executing this deal since 2010 for safety purposes and proper arrangements till date. We have confirmed utterly that nobody in both departments knows about this money and have arranged every necessary paper work needed to remit the money out from the bank. However, by our virtue position as executive staffs, we cannot acquire these funds in our names or in the name of any company situated here in South Africa and are also not allowed by the civil service code of conduct to own or operate offshore bank accounts.
So I write to seek your cooperation over this business proposal which is genuine and 100% legit. Firstly though, I must solicit your confidence in this transaction by good quality of its nature as being utterly classified. However, I understand the fact that transaction of this magnitude will make any one apprehensive, but I am assuring you that all will be well at the end of the transaction because it must be concluded on official platform.
Please be informed that arrangements will be made for the processing of the funds transfer once we build confidence on both sides; the funds will get into your designated overseas bank account immediately we reach a comprehensive agreement and proper documents forwarded to the bank to release the amount to you as the legal owner of the funds which was budgeted for contracts dully completed and awaits pay off.
Therefore if you're interested, we can open up communication and perk up confidence before proceeding with the basic formalities needed to commence the transaction. I promise you that this transaction will be conducted on a legitimate platform and you will be greatly rewarded for your assistance. In addition, I plead with you to keep this transaction very confidential even if you are not interested to handle it with me.
Finally, I thank you for taking your time to read this message while I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Elizabeth Dipuo Peters
