Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
 
 
The President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFRN), has giving a strong mandate to my office to pay all unpaid contractors, inheritance fund and Lottery winners whose funds were stopped by the Central Bank of Nigeria and other financial agencies. We have today started paying both local and foreign beneficiaries.
 
 
 
I noticed you were yet to be paid your Five Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars ($5,500,000.00). However, one Dr. Dion Lagfoss of England, United Kingdom through his lawyer filed in an application to claim your funds as your representative. Dr Dion Lagfoss told us you died 7months back in an auto crash.
 
 
 
We are sending you this letter to reconfirm if you are dead or alive before we pay out this money and if we do not read from you within 48hours, we shall immediately pay Mr. Dion Lagfoss the said sum as we shall believe that you are dead.
 
 
 
Kindly confirm the receipt of this mail as we shall not be held liable for any misdirection of your funds. Send your reply to   info.paymaster.general@yandex.com

This is to acknowledge the receipt of your mail and thank God you are
alive and your funds $5.5Million is safe and will be transferred to
you. All you need to claim your funds is a counter affidavit from the
court to dislodge the illegal claim of Mr Dion Lagfoss claiming to be
your representative, Therefore you are required by the laws of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria to obtain a Federal High Court of Lagos,
" Affidavit of Facts and Reclaim" immediately (within 48 hours).

Note without this affidavit we can not dislodge the illegal claim of
Dion Lagfoss because you have long abandoned your funds. In view of
this, you are required to obtain the affidavit of fact and reclaim by
flying down to Nigeria or contracting the services of our accredited
lawyer if you can not visit Nigeria due to the short notice.

Therefore respond urgently for further advise on this matter so that
you can obtain the affidavit now and your funds will be transferred
into your account.
