Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

I know that this mail will come to you as a surprise as we never met before. I am Barrister Paul L. Peterson, confidential attorney to the late Mr. George Nazar, I Hope that you will not expose or betray this trust and confident that I am about to repose on you for the mutual benefit of our both families. I need your urgent assistance in transferring the sum of Seven million united state dollars (US$7,000,000.00) immediately to your account as a foreigner.

The fund has been dormant (in-active) for some years in the Bank here in my country without any body coming for it and no one else knows about it except me. I want to apply for release of the fund to you as the relative to my deceased client who is from your country (the owner of the account) who died along with his supposed next of kin in boat mishap since on 24 January 2005. I don't want the fund to go into our Bank treasury as an abandoned fund, so this is the reason why I contacted you, so that the Bank will release the fund to you as the relative to my deceased client.

It is therefore upon this discovery that I now decided to make this business proposal to you because a nationality of my country can not apply or stand as the next of Kin or the relative to the deceased since the deceased was a foreigner, and hence he bear the same surname with you and both have the same nationality, I believe that it will be very easy for me to work it out for the bank release and transfer the fund to you as the relative of the deceased.

Please I would like you to keep this proposal as a top secret and let me know if you are not interested. Upon receipt of your reply, I will send you further details and procedure about this transaction and also note that you will have 40% of the above mentioned amount if you agree to help me execute this business, and 60% is for me and my chamber. Please get back to me soon so we can commence all arrangements and I Will give you more information on how we would handle this transaction.

Waiting for your urgent reply so that we will starts immediately,

Barrister Paul L. Peterson

Miss Young
