Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

We stopped a Diplomat named Mr.Benson Williams from delivering the package to you until its ascertained that you are aware of the package

This is to inform you that your Package will be released to you on Wednesday.

Due to an unannounced policy change, we have been mandated to scan and screen all packages that go through our Airports and while scanning yours,we found out that the package contains Cash.

Funds totaling US$10,000 and above can not be brought or taken out of the Country without clearance and as such the Diplomat will be allowed to complete the delivery of the package to your residential address only after clearance is done.

The Clearance is to ensure that due process is followed in the delivery of your package and there is no way the delivery can be completed without the clearance of the package.

The cost of the clearance is US$850 and it is the responsibility of the beneficiary of the package to pay this fee.

Due to the workload of Customs and Border Protection officers, payment for clearance of packages of certain weight (in KILOGRAMS) must be paid to the officer in-charge so that the clearance is done on time and delivered to the beneficiary without delay.

Therefore, the Clearance fee of US$850 should be paid with the information below:

AMOUNT: $850

After making the payment, the Payment Slip should be scanned and sent via email for confirmation of payment because it will be attached to the package which is an indication and confirmation that you have met all the laws associated with receiving your funds and no one or agency will stop you from receiving the funds after the fee is paid.

Upon the receipt of the payment information , the Clearance will be effected and the Diplomat will then be allowed to deliver the funds to you.

Refusing to pay for the Clearance of the package is a confirmation that you and the Diplomat wanted to smuggle the funds into the country which is a federal offense and a gross violation of the Patriot Act. it is therefore in your best interest that you pay for the clearance as instructed as the consequences of refusing is very severe.

Your compliance will facilitate the quick delivery of your package to you.
