Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Subject: Assets Belongs To My Late Client, Late Mr Tan Hai.

Dear,

Thank you for your email.

Below I am going to share some information and details about the transaction for your perusal. If you have any question(s) about the information contained herein, please do not hesitate to keep me posted. Funds belonged to a deceased Malaysian.

Late Tan Hai was born February 16, 1943 in Pennang Island, Malaysia. At the age of 16, he travelled to Singapore to help his father, who owned a rice trading business. In 1967,Mr Tan diversified his father`s business.

Our Search indicates that Tan`s father is from Foochow, in the Fujian province. Our independent search also found out that Tan`s famiily settled in the Xiamen area of Fujian Province, where active tea production was booming.

From Xiamen , late Tan`s father moved on to Pennang Island. There he married Tan`s mother (deceased).

Tan`s father had a sister and three other brothers that settled in the Pennang Island. from there, the Tan`s family expanded throughout Malaysia, Europe and Africa. The Tan`s family¡¯s permanent family registry address used to be in Amoy, Fujian, China until it was destroyed in 1977.

Late Mr Tan Hai was a Gold dealer and property developer / builder, running the business entirely as a family entity. He kept his nose clean since he came to Africa with a Fair Issac Corporation (FICO) score of 835 or so out of 850 before his death. Late Tan Hai was married to late Teh Poh Choo, they had a son, late Tan Khee Peck. Late Mr Tan Hai and family died June 12, 2012. The family cremated remains were buried in United States. Late Tan Hai and family profess to practice Shintoism.

We have tried many a time to use the above guide to locate his direct next of kin but failed hence we employed a private investigator specializing in genealogy research, finding missing heirs and your contact coordinates were provided to us.

We also made an independent search about your name, we¡¯re happy to contact you to finalize the transaction because you have no criminal record / judgment against your name, your age and high credit rating necessitated us to contact you, to enable us claim the deceased¡¯s estate because we strongly believe we can trust you.

We shall follow all due process in claiming the deceased¡¯s account balance to avoid any retribution whatsoever.Attached to this e-mail you will find the document requested.

Please complete, sign, date the application and email it to me.

Also attached is the deposit slip issued to Late Mr Tan Hai by the Ecobank. See also his death certificate. Kindly email all these documents to Ecobank along with the application letter.

Upon receipt, your application will be processed by the bank. The Bank will usually advise applicants of its decision within two business days, if all the needed information is provided accordingly.

We¡¯re available to advice you on all financial matters. Making good financial decisions is not always easy and we know it becomes more challenging when you or a loved one is affected, you don¡¯t need to make these decisions alone. Subject: I need your address

I did not lie to you and i will never lie to you even if you do not agree with me, there is no problem.

It is true there is no free meal in the world but many people die and leave their wealth behind with no next of kin to their inheritance. Late Mr Tan Hai died without leaving a next of kin behind. I do not need your money, all i need from you is your cooperation.

I would like us to change the beneficiary to your name. I am a legal attorney by profession and i was Mr Tan attorney for 8 years. I can have your name changed as his next of kin and instruct the bank to transfer his money to your bank account in China. I need you to provide the following details so that i can go to the probate court and change the beneficiary/next of kin to your name:

3) Your address

I have received your age and other information. I require only your address so that i can go to the probate court and change the beneficiary/ next of kin status to your name.

After this is done, i shall submit it to the bank and i hope the bank will authorize a wire transfer to your nominated bank account in China. I hope to relocate to Beijing with my family immediately after the transfer. I shall deposit my own share of the money in Bank Of China.

I look forward to receiving your address on your next email.

Regards,
David.
