PRIMER TO MY VISION PROJECT IN YOUR COUNTRY.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project aims to provide an avenue for target beneficiaries the right to basic education to
better equip children with essential knowledge to prepare their future and become responsible
individuals and be responsive to the same need for their generations to follow.
It also aims to assist parents to gain better opportunity to ensure financial stability to sustain a
well-structured educational framework that would translate effective strategies put into action,
significantly increasing literacy rate in the country.
Implementation of self-liquidating and self-sustaining Income-Generating Projects (IGP) can
assist the target areas in reducing the poverty threshold; provide additional income and increasing their
purchasing power, thereby creating self-reliant and self-sustaining communities.
PROJECT GOAL
The over-all goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of the communities within the
target areas
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
At the end of 36 months (initial), the proposed project hopes to accomplish the ff:
1. Strengthen and develop capabilities of project beneficiaries through the provision of relative
knowledge and opportunities
2. To organize and sustain a pool of successful graduates in their chosen field and assist them
employment as a mode of gauging accomplishment
3. Promote consciousness among clientele the importance of basic education and the need to
contribute for generations to come
4. Provide access to basic education as vehicle to help improve their quality of life
VERIFIABLE INDICATORS
1. Number of successful graduates
2. Number of employed beneficiaries
3. Number of areas of project implemented
4. Membership and accreditations with line agencies and other private institutions
5. Number of trainings conducted at the area level
PROJECT COMPONENTS
A. COMMUNITY ORGANIZING AND CAPABILITY BUILDING
-community mobilization and institution building involves training and organizing parent
beneficiaries, proper education, information ad referrals
B. INSTITUTION BUILDING
-institution building component aims at developing the capabilities of the FOUNDATION
in bringing its services to the community, through the provision of quality training for
technically-capable workforce
Accreditation with concerning bodies for effective coordination and collaboration,
linkage building and membership both locally and internationally can sustain and increase the
capability of LWF to deliver its program and services.
C. ESTABLISHMENT OF DATA BANK
Development of web page and integration of information will provide foster parents and
other interested groups and individual's easy access to donors, sponsors and other related data
D. PROVISION OF SERVICES
Services to be provided by the FOUNDATION include the following:
1. SCHOLARSHIP FOR FREE EDUCATION
Screening and selection of candidates from identified beneficiary group
2. FOSTER-PARENTSHIP PROGRAM
Identification and Cross-matching of Foster Parent (international)/Beneficiary to
expand beneficiary base thus increasing literacy rate
3. PRE-EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Attainment of goals is measured by reaching this stage to ensure financial
stability through networking and linkaging
4. REFERERRALS AND CASE STUDIES
Problems and needs relative to the goals and objectives but is outside the
scope, shall be referred to appropriate agencies and institutions. All these
initiatives shall be properly documented through case studies
PROJECT TIMETABLE
To ensure adequate and effective project implementation, phasing of major work items and activities is
proposed. The over-all implementation of the project is subdivided into three major phases namely:
1) Pre-investment Phase which entails project preparation, planning and appraisals of partner
Organizations,
2) Investment Phase, which is divided into two major stages, PRE-IMPLEMENTATION STAGE and
IMPLEMENTATION STAGE

VISION / MISSION
IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF BASIC
EDUCATION INTERVENTION WITH RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AFFORDED
TO THE LESS-PRIVILEGED AND THE HANDICAPPED
PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY
The project sustainability Plan which will be designed by the project implementers shall consider
the different players of the organization. Leadership in the field should be developed to obtain general
patronage and to continue the services and programs of the organization
The following schemes should be included in the design
1. A self-sustaining livelihood projects that will generate income and can pay for its operations
2. The Foundation should also consider tie-ups and linkages with other donor organizations both
local and international to sustain, upgrade and provide responsive programs for the
communities
3. Membership expansion. Benevolent and concerned individuals are welcome to join the
organization who may provide financial and/or technical donations
PROJECT MONITORING AND EVALUATION
Detailed implementation plan shall be prepared for the purpose of establishing monitoring tools
of the project. These monitoring tools will determine extent of project accomplishment in every phase
of the project. Monthly accomplishment reports both quantitative and qualitative shall be made.
