Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Dear Sir,

RE: Release of your Inheritance Fund

This is to inform you that the new president Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) have announced that Sterling Bank Plc should continue with the settlement of the country's contractors and inheritors debts to the 1, 462 beneficiaries that you are among. He further stated that he will equally alert us when to stop all payments (dateline) which, will not take longer time.

In view of this, he insisted that the IMF involvement in handling bank fees should continue as to enable him run the government effectively with what is on the ground. Therefore, you are strictly advised to act proficient towards securing a Waiver Certificate with USD865.99 at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) office at Abuja Nigeria so that we can effect your payment fully.

Having President Muhammadu Buhari spoken that we should carry on with the aids the IMF is giving beneficiaries, Sterling Bank cannot go contrary to this, unless you the fund beneficiary is ready to pay the bank fees.

However, the Waiver Certificate is a working tool that prevents you and other beneficiaries from being asked to pay bank fees.
