Zenith Bank International Plc, has finally signed a debts settlement
pact with the Nigerian authorities, after Zenith and other independent
commercial Banks has sponsored a petition against the Nigeria Apex Bank
(CBN) and some Foreign Banks, for their inability to offset foreign debts for so many years which has created bad image to the Nation of Nigeria.
The CBN has failed to offset foreign debts.
The
CBN and some foreign Banks has been forcefully in charge of the
Debts settlement for so many years with little or no result, in
violation of the international transfer Act of Geneva, that illustrate
the policy of double standard. We have enough prove and substantial
evidence against the CBN, how they foreign
contractors suffer untold hardships and trauma.
It is too
obvious that the persistence debts settlement problem in Nigeria did
not appear out thin air, it is simply caused by the unprofessional and
hash policies of the (CBN) and Diamond Bank Plc management and we are opposed to it, hence
the petition against them.
Upon signing of the payment pact,
Zenith Bank has resolved to explore all reasonable avenues, including
your valued ideas to correct the mistakes, errors of the CBN, Diamond Bank Plc and give
all the beneficiaries valued services, though pending your maximum
corporation.
Furthermore, as part of our commitment, we have contacted some Ministries to seek their support for your remittance, to
authenticate your debts and also to discover reason(s) why your funds
are still being withheld. The authorities authenticated your debts and
have indicated readiness to sign their approval for the remittance.
Be
rest assured that, Zenith Bank management will do it' s very best to
ensure that you receive your funds via Bank to Bank transfer only. Please, always feel free and make your
contributions and ideas known to us, because we cannot do this alone.
