Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Good-Day
Please read carefully as I am going to explain in details why I mailed you. I am Paul Coates a solicitor at law, personal attorney to lateRobert Young, who died in a car crash in East London on the 15th of MARCH 2015. Since the death of my client, i have made several inquiries in the United States to locate any of my clients extended relatives, and which efforts have been to no avail, after these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to search-through with his name on the search engine and found you bearing the same last name with my late Client.
I have contacted you to solicit your honest assistance in repatriating the deposited fund valued at US$2.4M (Two Million Four hundred thousand US Dollars ) left behind by my client before it gets confiscated or declared U-serviceable by the Birmingham Mid-shires Bank of London where this huge amount were deposited by my Client. The said Bank has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have his account confiscated within the next twenty one official working days or forfeit the money as abandoned funds since i have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2years.
On this note i decided to search for a credible person and finding that you bear a similar last name and i was urged to contact you. I seek the consent to present you as the next of kin to the deceased since you have the same last name so as to enable the bank make the payment to you.
On receipt of your positive response, we shall then discuss the sharing ratio and modalities for transfer. I have all necessary information and legal documents needed to back you up for this claim all i require from you is your honest co-operation to enable us see this transaction through. I guarantee that this will be executed under legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. Note that there is a legal reason for the confidentiality of this transaction because of the nature of the transactions and the circumstances surrounding it.
I will appreciate if you are very sure you can assist with this and execute this with the required diligence, take note of the mode of sharing after a second thought, 50% for me and 50% for you.
I know there might be other persons out there with the same surname as my late client, but after a little check my instinct tells me to contact you. This is legally possible and would be done in accordance with the laws of the land.If you have gone through this mail and you feel it is acceptable by you, kindly get back to me telling me if you are willing to proceed so that i can provide you with more information and we can go ahead with the claim process.
I look forward to receive a favorable response from you.
Sincerely,

You have only two options to get these processes done as soon as possible. Please note that our board of directors has already schedule your claim process to commence immediately.

This is because there is no means of having you endorse these documents by email or any other means.

Option number two (2) noting that you are a foreigner and you based abroad , we have decided to give you an alternative in situations where you are unable to travel down to London immediately, that is to make a referral in your interest may also be done in similar circumstances. In this vein , i Sir Alexandre Reuben the Private Banking Ad-visor/Compliance Head International Remittance Unit BIRMINGHAM MIDSHIRES BANK can assist you to handle these matters on your behalf by obtaining the copies of LETTER OF ADMINISTRATION from the PROBATE REGISTRY of ENGLAND and the AFFIDAVIT for CHANGE of OWNERSHIP. Dear Customer,

Here is the required process we need to follow to have your inheritance fund released immediately. I will proceed to the PROBATE REGISTRY OF ENGLAND for the procurement of AFFIDAVIT as well as the LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION from the high court and CLEARANCE DOCUMENTS from the INLAND REVENUE BOARD for ancillary matters on your behalf on the Estate of late (Robert Young). Please be informed that legal fees are charged to obtain these DOCUMENTS, without these affidavits your inherited fund will not be approved for transfer to you as the true beneficiary. The legal fee to obtain these DOCUMENTS is Four Thousand Six Hundred and Forty dollars. ($4,640.00) at the PROBATE REGISTRY OF ENGLAND and from the HIGH COURT
Such documents include an AFFIDAVIT OF CLAIM and AFFIDAVIT OF OWNERSHIP from the High court. This AFFIDAVIT will clarify you as a true next of kin from your family and also i will obtain the CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP CERTIFICATE as well and this second document will change the name in which the fund was deposited to your own name. And finally, the most important document i must obtain is the LETTER OF ADMINISTRATION which is a ruling from the High court here. This ruling has to be passed before the transfer can begin.
Note that the Four Thousand Six Hundred and Forty dollars ($4,640.00) is the estimated fees for this purpose and to be appropriated in the following manner.

Documentation. $2000.00
Deed fee. . . .$1,500.00
Revenue charges.$1,000.00
Non-Resident Bank Account Set-up initial deposit fee . .$140.00

Please note also that i will complete my service within two working days from the day I receive the fee. I want to inform you as long as you follow the required procedures concerning this transaction ,you will receive your inherited fund in the next two working days depending on your attitude towards it and as long as this transaction is on you have my full trust and you can confide in me in whatever way. If you wish to make the payment immediately, kindly get back to us for the payment instructions as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The inherited sum is presently in a suspense account and we cannot make any deduction of any kind until it is deposited in your name in an active account (Non-resident Bank Account) which will make it suitable for transfer to you.

Hello Miss Young,
I received your message and I fully understood the required process stated by the bank. Please we need to proceed with the required procedure to obtain the (AFFIDAVIT OF CLAIM and AFFIDAVIT OF OWNERSHIP) documents as suggested by the bank to get the legal approval for the inheritance release. I want you to understand that the mentioned documents (affidavit) it's very important at this stage because it will be obtained from the probate registry of London as legal approval of the inheritance fund release to you as the true beneficiary of the fund, so please we need to obtain it immediately as instructed by the bank.
In regards to the said fee $4,640 and as partners in this claim, I will pay part of the fee which will be $4,000 and you pay $640 so that we can proceed with the payment immediately to the bank for the procurement of the approval legal papers (affidavit of claim and affidavit of ownership) documents so as to have the inheritance fund legal release approval from the probate office in London.
I would have loved to pay the complete fee but at this time it's really difficult for me to come up with the full amount, please believe me and trust me for this, I could have done it without asking a penny from you which i so much regret that am doing but am just asking you because this is going to benefit both of us.
Please consider it and contact the bank informing them that you and your family lawyer Paul Coates are ready to proceed with the legal fee payment and they should inform you on how we are to send the payment to them immediately to proceed with the legal processes that is involved for the fund release approval.
Thank you once again for your understanding and cooperation. Please call me immediately after reading this message.
Sincerely,
Paul Coates
