Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

After a recent upgrade of the NNPC website and contractors database,
several dormant accounts have been uncovered. The board of directors
of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation deemed it necessary to
reach out to the dormant accounts email addresses with incomplete
details recovered. Please be informed that the sender of this email
does not have the capacity to either process or pay out money to
contractors or beneficiaries. Kindly follow the instructions below.

This message is sent on behalf on NNPC Group and is intended for only
NNPC Group Contractors or those who are next of kin to late
contractors, thereby entitled to receive the full contract amount
payable by the corporation. The recovered emails addresses are being
contacted with a paid gmail bulk sender account because the official
property and identity of NNPC will not be subject to ABUSE by non
Contractors and non Beneficiaries. All those who respond appropriately
to this email will be contacted officially with all identity of the
NNPC through their official contractors Domain name. All recipients
are hereby advised not to deal with anyone or organization, who
impersonates NNPC and contacts you with a free email service provider.
Also be aware that you are only being contacted through this means
because this is the only way we can contact you, NNPC do not transact
business through email because of the high rate of hackers and
fraudsters on the internet.

We have heard reports from people who accused the corporation of
defrauding them through our personnel, NNPC has not defrauded anyone
or any organization who followed the appropriate channels, you lost
your money because you chose to cut processes and you ended up paying
thousands for a process whose financial responsibility is not more
than 800 BP. We urge you to stop dealing with such people and follow
the instructions given Right now.

We intend to end this payment process as soon as possible because of
the pressure from NEITI, who are the supervisory authority of this
exercise. we have a 21 day ultimatum. we thereby solicite your swift
response and co-operation throughout this process. For quick contact
and communication, we request that you send immediately a phone number
with international call capacity on both side. Also a functioning
mailbox will be appreciated, this will enable you receive your payment
documents that will be sent via any private courier service but the
cost of sending MUST be paid by the recipient.
