Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

I'm very happy that I finally made it to Isreal where my helper came from; we're together here doing some project establishments, Before I left Senegal I raised and signed anbank cheque of
$500,000.00 dollars [Five Hundred Thousand dollars]
in your name for your efforts and contribution as it were.I will like you to accept this token with good faith as this is from the bottom of my heart. Now you need to contact Mr. Jose Augusto Lopes of DHL post office branch director in Dakar (Senegal). .
Contact them as soon as you read this mail and ask him to send you the chequce of $500,000.00 which i kept for you.I appreciated your efforts at that time very much, That was why i tried all my best to do all it takes so that your money will be intact Be informed that i have registered the cheque with your name and here is the securitycode no.30101000959263. Do inform me immediately you receive it.
