We are sorry for not being in contact before now as your consignment
was being encoded as there was a security stamp on the fund as the
matter had being forwarded to the home land security, the Homeland
security are requesting that the security stamp must be cleared.
The airport security opened the box in our office to access the
contents of the box and it was discovered that the box contained cash
amount in dollar bill. When this was discovered, the currency detector
was used to authenticate the dollars and the bills were certified genuine.
But they however discovered that the entire dollar Bills inside the
box were given a SECURITY STAMP with an instruction manual enclosed
inside the box to explain the procedures of cleaning the stamps from
the face of the dollars. Base on this findings or new development, the
US authority has blocked the possibility of shipping the money with
the stamps on them to you for the following reasons.
First, the type of Stamp used by the Ecowas is government owned,
belonging to ECOWAS ( Economic Community of West Africa States ) and
according to the homeland security, the consignment can only be
returned to the country of origin, To avoid any possible confiscation
of the box by US government, our officer decided not to argue with
them, but allowed them to retain the shipment at the airport warehouse facility.
Secondly, the instruction manual stated clearly that there is only
one Chemical company that has the legal rights to the stamps used and
the chemical to clean the stamps and the said company is situated in Canada.
From our point of view and from the perspective of security analysis,
we are of the opinion that the reason for the security stamps as
applied, was to safeguard the money from being used or stolen by
anyone who was not a benefactor to this will.
So that was why your consignments has been facing all this delay this
while for not have been deliver to you. After a meeting resolution
resolved today I was asked to write your a letter to notify you of
this and find out if you still interested to reclaim your funds or
you've decline from the owner.
