Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

To the urgent Attention of Mr.

Please get an interpreter or a language translator to assist you.

Once again, the Federal Executive Council, of Nigeria wish to apologized for the late response we received from the Management of Union Bank Nigeria Plc this afternoon, the bank was mandated to release your approved accrued interest payment (US$400,000.00) that was recovered from your overdue outstanding payments in Nigeria and was allocated to the Union Bank for immediate release into your submitted bank account in UAE, this Payment was jointly approved for you after we discovered that you are one of those beneficiaries who overdue payments has attracted accrued interests this last quarter of this fiscal year.

It is my pleasure as the Vice President & Chairman Nigeria Executive Council. to the Federal Government of Nigeria to inform you that the UNION BANK has been allocated every financial power to release and transfer your $400,000.00 to you under the new Nigeria Government foreign payment policy act of 2019 which was put in place after this nation received instructions from the World Bank and International community instructing this present government ,to make sure we pay all our overdue foreign debts immediately.

Just this afternoon the Management of Union Bank Nigeria Plc called to inform us (THE PRESIDENCY) that they have sent you pre-payment signals/advise which you not have been able to acknowledge and has not been able to meet-up with the bank's statutory requirement for transferring the said amount into your designated bank account considering the fact that we have sent your payment approval to the same bank.
Do you know the implications of allowing this approved fund ($400,000.00) with the Union Bank Nigeria Plc after tomorrow? Please if you are not ready to receive this funds? kindly advise the bank via an official close-letter or you fill and return the attached form so the bank will turn your funds into the Federation's treasury as unclaimed deposits or possibly use it to pay some other beneficiaries.

Young man, this nation acknowledged the fact that you may have limited cash to pay for the said requirements being required from you by the Union Bank ,but we sincerely urge you to please look for how you can meet-up with the bank's statutory requirement to enable your fund start arriving in your designated account successfully this week as advised by the Union Bank .

Don't you know that it is an existing facts that so many Government officials never wished you this payment but because of the present pressure from the international community, the Attorney General & Minister of Justice of Nigeria,Mr.Abubakar Malami (a devoted Muslim) and Mrs.Zainab Ahmed (the Finance Minister) has no option than to pay you this overdue debt in order to repair our national image that has been tarnished!
The Union Bank has limited time to effect these payments and it is so important you comply with their statutory obligation in order to get paid on time as any delay from you will force them to abort the payment and return the funds into the Federation account. The office of the Finance Minister of the Federation has been advised to contact you and advise you about the urgency attached to this payment.

Sir,its a pity that we are in a society where it is always very difficult to differentiate between fallacy and reality, we have so many social miscreants in our system who are capable of impersonating anybody to extort funds from foreigners under the pretext that they are Genuine Nigerian Government officials, therefore there is no way you will ignore the union Bank's payment advice over this your $400,000.00 payment this crucial period when this nation is faced with intense pressure from the International community to pay-up its debts, even with the devastating economic effect of the corona virus here in Nigeria.

Sir, I wonder why you could not concentrate and make a prompt claim of your fund from the UNION BANK NIGERIA PLC before it is too late?.

We have only one bank that we have instructed and allocated Forex allocation to pay you this $400,000.00 debts owed to you this last quarter of this year and that bank remains the Union Bank of Nigeria Plc.
The Federal Government indulge you to revert back to the Union Bank Nigeria Plc immediately before tomorrow morning under its foreign payment department and make an instant claim of your already approved payment and stop every other communication with any official or bank in Nigeria.Alternatively, you are advised to fill and return the attached form here in this letter if you cannot make claim of your $400,000.00 this week

However, based on this report and complaint we received from the Union Bank Nigeria who is currently with your $400,000.00 accrued interest payment, your pending $400,000.00 transfer will be confiscated in the next 48 hours if you can not finalize with the Union Bank as required.

Your $400,000.00 payment will be confiscated into the Nations Treasury as a mistaken allocation,if you fail to do the needful.

I look forward to hearing from you .
