Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Subject: Your abandoned consignment

Hello Beneficiary,

My name is Janet Yellen, the newly United States Secretary of the Treasury, and the Head of luggage storage facilities. During my recent withheld package routine check at Storage Vault, I discovered an abandoned shipment from a Diplomat and when scanned it revealed an undisclosed sum of money in a metal trunk box weighing approximately 57.6kg. On my assumption, the box will contain more than Ten Million U.S. Currency.

The consignment was abandoned because of its content due to improper declaration by the consignee as "MONEY" rather it was declared as personal effect to avoid interrogation and also the inability of the diplomat to pay for the United States Non Inspection Fee. Be informed that the consignment is still left in the storage facilities till date. Your email address from the United Nations office is tagged on the trunk box.

I am also pleased to inform you that arrangement has been concluded to have this fund release and delivered to your address through our delivery service. We need you to reconfirm your address where to have this fund delivered along with your contact number where you can be reached.

I await to hear from you urgently if you are still alive, and I will appreciate it if you keep this transaction confidential until you receive your funds for security reasons.

Yours Faithfully,

Janet Yellen,

United States Secretary of the Treasury.
