Subject: Assistance Required
Dear Friend,
I got your contact through my private search on the internet, I therefore
decided to contact you. I am the first
son of Mr Williams T Mcneil,
a senior former Haitian cabinet minister and leader of opposition
in Haiti, who was murdered on the 27th
day of June 2000 for his role in opposition to the tyrannical
rule of Jean Bertrand Aristide, the former ruler of Haiti.
When my father was alive I used to move funds, in cash, running into
millions of United States dollars to the Caribbean, and other parts
of the world, for safe keeping on his behalf. However, on the eve of
my father's death on June 26, 2000, he
gave me the sum of 80M in cash to move to the Caribbean as usual, but
unfortunately he died and I had to move the funds to Europe through
a diplomatic courier service to a trusted security company in Europe.
The funds have been in the security company since July 2000. However,
because of the many restrictions placed on my family by the present
Haitian Government, I simply cannot travel to secure the funds from
the security company in Europe. Also, the fear of being discovered by
the agents of the Aristide government has added to my fear and inability
to claim the funds using my name.
What I now need from you if you are interested are as follows:-
1.You must travel to Europe to secure
the funds in cash on my behalf and deposit it in your bank account
for onward remittance to your Country or any country as we would both
decide.
2.Your share of the funds will be 30% of the entire value for your trouble
and participation in this. On investment of the balance on my behalf,
you will further be entitled to a share of the profits accruing on investments.
3.As soon as you confirm to me by my e-mail address your readiness to
travel to Europe, I will send a copy of my Power of Attorney and other
relevant documents to the security company in Europe authorizing them
to release the funds to you.
4.As soon as you have the funds in your custody, I will give you details
of where and in which sector of the Busines world you will invest my
share of the funds, on my behalf.
5.Please note that this deal while being risk free for you could be
very dangerous for me if it is discovered that I moved out such a large
amount of money from Haiti. As such you must keep this very secret and
confidential for my sake and for the successful conclusion of this transaction.
Please contact me via my alternative email only for now; , in due course
I will also provide a confidential phone line on which you can call
me from time to time. On contact, you will immeditely be given details
of the transaction and how to proceed. Please rest assured that we will
definitely meet as soon as I am assured of your trust and dedication
to this deal.
N.B.alternative email address: alan1200f@netscape.net

Subject: Thank you for showing your intention to assist(From Alan Mcneil)
Thanks for your prompt respose to my email. I will now try as much
as I can to be as detailed in this email as possible. First of all,
I hope you are fully convinced of your ability to handle such funds
because all I say here about the money remains true and would be verified
by you in due course. I hope you can read this carefully and decide
before I call you for a telephone discussion.
As it would be completely irresponsible of me to tell you the exact
location and complete details regarding the funds, I hope you'll be
able to narrow our decision down to the fact that at this point we need
a complete stranger who can handle these funds in trust for me. Whatever
you will be doing with me must be based strictly on trust and utmost
confidentiality and I hope you reciprocate and not disappoint me in
anyway. You will agree with me that its not quite easy to entrust a
legacy like this in the beginning, but at the end a little trust goes
a long way If you do not disappoint me and remain loyal, dedicated and
sincere as expected, I can assure you will never have any cause to regret
working with me.
The said funds were actually accrued from activities relating to government
positions and leadership bonuses. I would consider these as perks from
being the leader of a country. I am sure you would understand if I cannot
go into that here for obvious reasons, but rest assured that the funds
are clean to the best of my knowledge, as such they were not sourced
from drugs, money laundering or terrorist activities. Please do not
worry yourself about this and the safety of doing this, it is totally
risk free.
In the circumstances following our departure from Haiti, I had involved
a personal friend and benefactor of mine, who is a Diplomat in one of
the diplomatic missions in Europe. This gentleman had influenced the
movement of the funds from Haiti all the way to Europe with his connections
in the diplomatic circles. Though the package is labelled as "Family
Treasure", on the invoice of the security company which was responsible
for its shipment, I can state categorically, that it contains cash totalling
in excess of 87M US.
This said treasure as it is, had been sealed, locked and handed to
the security company by me prior to our departure from Haiti. The unlock
codes which I still have will be provided on your arrival in Europe.
Also, your duties while there will only be to accept the consignment
on my behalf, make a lodgement in a top bank with the assistance of
the security company, and once the lodgement has been done, I will then
embark and meet you there in Europe. The purpose of our meeting will
be to determine and share the funds according to agreed ratios, then
consider some investments around the world which you shall hold in trust
on my behalf until such a time as we consider safe to hold same myself.
Please note that on your arrival in Europe, my diplomat friend there
will meet with you to provide all relavant documentation which you shall
sign and help you through all bureaucratic processes to ensure that
the funds are lodged in a top Bank there. Please note that the cash
therein shall be shared as conveyed in my initial email to you. Note
also that all initial expenses regarding your travel and lodgement of
the funds in your account in Europe shall be addressed only when I arrive
in Europe and after the funds have been lodged in your account/custody.
By this I mean, all your expenses including telephone bills for the
period shall be fully reimbursed prior to sharing of the funds, based
on agreed ratios/percentages.
Please be rest assured that as soon as I am convinced of your loyalty
and dedication to this deal, I will procure a telephone on which you
may call me from time to time until you embark on your trip to Europe.
Please bear with me for now and I hope that you can handle this deal
in good faith and treat all that transpires between us as utterly confidential.
I await your response.
Regards,
Alan T. Mcneil

Dear Miss Young,
Thank you for your email which included your picture.I must confess
to you that you look really like a businesslike woman than I had thought. But
I would want you to assure me once again that you will be capable of
handling this nature of business considering the amount involved.Have
you ever handled such businesses and hope you will not let us down???
These are the big questions that I would want to clarify with you before
starting.
I would want you to give me a more purposeful and direct telephone
number of which I can reach you. I have tried calling you severally
on this number xxxx but I cannot reach you.
Note,I will let you have my own picture by next week as I do not have
any scanned picture for now.
I await your prompt reply while I wish you a happy weekend.

Dear Alan, Thank you for your kind words. I will be waiting
for your picture. You should not be worried about me handling your savings.
My father learned me how to invest, and I have a financial adviser to
assist me. I can see that you tried calling me several times without leaving
a message. You must forgive me for not answering the telephone, but you
called me early in the morning while I was still asleep! Hope to hear

Dear Miss Young,
Thank you once again for your prompt response. You should realise that
I need to discuss with you on how to take off with the business as time
is no longer on our side.I would also want to ensure that you maintain
confidentiality which is suppossed to be our watchword in this transaction.
Please let me know the exact time I am to call you by giving me the
time in G.M.T as well as letting me know your exact state in the U.S.
Miss Young,I would need you to send to me a scanned copy of any form
of identification so that I can immediately forward to my Diplomat friend
who will in turn send to the Security company for prelimenary preparations
for your appointment with them. This identification could be in the form
of a scanned copy of your international passport, drivers' license or
I.D. card.
Also, I should inform you to start making preparations to travel any
time from now since the Security Company would likely choose an appointment
date for you in between this week and next week.
Finally, I want to apologise for not sending my picture today which
is of course due to my tight schedule for not being able to have a scanned
photogragh in a disc so as to send to you. But anyway, I promise to
have it sent to you over the next weekend. Moreover,we are going to
meet each other face to face very soon.
Your Partner,

Dear Alan, Sorry about your troubles calling my telephone.
I live in Washington. But you can not reach me there for the next couple
of days. I am going to Toronto tonight for some urgent business, but you
can reach me by email as usual. I dont understand why you make this identification-stuff
so complicated. Why dont you send him my picture, that you already have,
or even better, give me the emailaddress of the security company, and
I will send them the picture directly. I am disappointed that you keep
saying hurry up to me, while you need more than a week to send me your
picture. Have a nice day, ... |

very busy weeks, I hope things will be back to normal. How is our business

Dear Miss Young,
Good day to you and thank you once again for your last email sent to
me I am pleased to inform you that I have immediately forwarded the
scanned copy of your Driver's license to my Diplomat friend who has
assured me that the form of identity would get to the Security Company
before the end of business today.
I want to let you know that I am now fully convinced and confident
enough to work with you as my business partner. We are going to realise
this dream of becoming multi-millionaires by the special grace of God.
Miss Young, at this juncture, what is left for us now is for us to get
to talk on phone. You will have to give me a specific and definite time
for me to call you because I need to discuss somethings with you on
the phone. At this stage of the transaction, I will have to inform you
about how you are to arrange your trip to meet with the Security Company.
I will also let you have my picture after we might have discussed on
phone.
I await you to give me a definite time when I can reach you on phone
in your next mail to me so as to be able to move forward.
Thank you,

Now lets squeeze Alan a little:
Dear Alan, Thank you for your postive email. I look forward to meet
you and your diplomat friend. You haven't answered my question. When
do you expect me to go to Europe? My calender is already very tight,
and the longer you wait to inform me, the more difficult it becomes
to squeeze you in. Before I go to Europe you have to help me. So far
the $87m have only been words in an email. I haven't seen any hard facts.
I want to believe you, but if you want me to go to Europe for an amount
of this magnitude, you will have to present me with some kind of document
from the Security company or similar. Regards, ...

Subject: Get ready to travel
Dear Miss Young,
Thanks for your email. I want to be very brief with my points. Let
me start by letting you know that due to the sensitive nature of the
transaction, I will not encourage the sending of this important documents
via any electronic media like fax or email. On your arrival in Europe,
you will be made to see as well as endorse these documents relating
to the consignment. You will agree with me that emailing such vital
documents is not in the interest of this deal and must not be encouraged.
I assure you however, that all documentation is in place and utmost
care and attention has been applied in that regard.
You are to travel to Spain as your first point of call where a meeting
would be arranged between myself, yourself, my Diplomat friend as well
as a financial consultant. After the meeting, the documents, including
a power of attorney will be presented for your endorsement. These documents
will refer to you as the sole beneficiary of the funds, empower you
to act without recourse to anyone else and will be veted and notarised
by a top attorney in Europe.
Now, I believe I have shed some light on the whole plans so it is now
left for you to choose a tentative date in between next week and first
week in January so as to allow my Diplomat friend confirm with the Security
Company as having the date approved for the appointment. I would not
want a situation whereby the Security Company has a set date for you
and you are unable to come due to time inavailability so we must have
to harmonise your schedule with that of the Security Company.
Unfortunately Miss Young, the only document you may see if I am able
to convince my Diplomat friend to do so is a copy of his passport. I
hope you can understand that he will have to go an extra mile to do
this due to the sensitive nature of his job. I hope I have mentioned
previously that he is the South African Envoy for Special duties with
the High Commission in Madrid.
My dear, I understand your feelings and the need to expedite this deal,
but I must stress that it is even more important to be cautious and
to proceed with extreme care. I also know it can be very hard to trust
on face value as is what I am asking of you, but rest assured that your
trust in me will not be unrewarded in any way. When you eventually arrive
Madrid and confirm all that I have told you, then I am sure you will
be full of smiles and gratitude. Please, once again I have to ask you
have Faith and just follow my instructions until our meeting in Madrid.
This is the only way we can succeed in this deal. I do not know if you
are rich, but I am sure you will be able to make out time to handle
a transaction of this magnitude, and considering that I have been very
generous with an offer of 30%, that should give me some concession as
per the time that you devote to this transaction.
In conclusion, I would want you to go ahead and book a flight to Madrid
and then let me know the itenerary so as to make preparations to meet
you.
Lest I forget, I asked you to let me have specific and definite times
I would be able to reach you on the phone but you did not include this
in your mail, I suggest you let me know this as soon as possible so
that we can at least have a chat soon.
I await your prompt response as usual.
Your sincerely,
Alan T. Macneil

He will not send any documents, so why should I believe him? And since
he is not satisfied with my answering machine, I send him the number
of a stripbar!
Dearest Alan, You are not making things easy for me. If I have to
trust you, you will also have to cooperate a little with me. So far
I have seen no proof whatsoever of the money, you or your friend! You
promised to send your picture, but haven't. You refuse to send any documents.
If you are so afraid of sending a copy of the document by email, you
could either send it encrypted, or send it by fax or snail mail! You
ask whether I want to see your friends passport. Of course I do, up
to now I have seen nothing to prove he exists, not even his name! Regarding
my timeschedule, I can inform you that I am going to Toronto next week,
so the earliest date we can meet, will be week 1. I hope this will be
ok. I don't understand why you insist on talking to me on the phone.
I am not used to conduct my business by phone. It will have to be confirmed
in writing anyway. Anyway, I can be reached tomorrow on this number:

Dearest Miss Young,
I believe you are the one trying to make things difficult. This transaction
is basically for you to come over and pick the funds/CASH. It is not
about any other thing. The documents are there and these are what you
require to pick up the funds so my dear, please do not let us keep on
going back on issues already discussed. I have told you that there is
no way I can have the documents sent to you. Once you get to Madrid,
these documents would be handed over to you.
I have tried to convince my friend to send his passport to you, but
he deems it unnecessary since you are to meet him in early January.
Miss Young, you just have to understand considering the sensitive nature
of the entire transaction. Let us not make a big fuss about these pictures.
I have tried severally to call you on the telephone number you sent
but I guess you were not awake then, but I will give it another trial
later today.
I am also pleased to inform you that I have arranged with my Diplomat
