The plane came down in a densely populated area, ploughing through several buildings including two mosques before it came to a halt and burst into flames. Thelma Lou, Ken's wife and I, Pastor Ron have apparently caused a great misunderstanding. Ken undoubtedly thought that Thelma Lou and I had left town together with the church funds to build the Joshua wing. That was fabricated by his uncle Howard, who is a practical joker. He took it too far and now, Ken is missing.

We really didn't take any money, it was here at the trailer all the time. He thought Thelma Lou had mailed it and she thought he had. Everyone at the church is out searching as I type this letter.

I am at a local library using a public computer. A close friend of the family, Earnest Bass, helped me get in by throwing a rock threw a glass window in the back. I have done some bad things and I am sure by now the police are searching for me.

Ken is in a lot of trouble. The police are looking for him because he now has a gun and has made some threats. He was nearly captured at the local library where he broke in. They thought he had someone helping him but did not catch him.

The police have the Mayberry Mission staked out and have taken mission owner Andy to the jail for questioning. This situation is getting worse by the day. There has been several robberies in the area in the past few days and a lot of money was taken in the form of cashier's checks.

From Pastor Ronn to Joshua,

To Joshua Edward,
Ken asked me to send this letter to you due to the fact that earlier today, the police caught him and he is now in jail for theft of some cashier's checks amoung other things. He wrote it from his jail cell and gave it to me when we went to see what it would take to bail him out. He said that you were his only hope even though you are on the other side of the earth. He told that God told him to contact you. I am not sure what that meant.

Dear Joshua,
With teary eyes I write you this letter. Sadly, I am now in custody of the local police and am asking for help from all the way around the world. You are my only friend. You kept me from doing something to myself when I thought all was lost.

Earnest has even left me for parts unknown with what money I had left. Pastor Ron tells me that all the Joshua wing money is tied up with contractors who are working as I write this message to you. My mother in law took back her money because she now does not trust Pastor Ron or Lou Ann.

This is a "bad" place for even an animal. There are murderers here as well as father rapers and even mother rapers right across from me and I am scared for my life. They make jokes and ugly gestures at me all day. The meanest of the police are named Larry, Mike and Jack. They told me that the worst will come after dark. I am very scared to be here. I have never been in jail in my life!!

You my friend are my only hope for survival! I hope Earnest really sent the checks as he told me. I need $278.50 to get out of jail until my trial. Is there any way to get an advance or will the money come soon. I don't believe I will last a week. My address is P O Box 84, XXXXX Ga XXXXX

Joshua did not reply, so I send him this final letter:

Dear Joshua, I would have thought by now even the dumbest of fools would have figured out that there is no way that I would send you nor anyone else any "free" money to feed your need to steal from others.

I am sure that there are many people on computers who take you at your face value and fall for your line of crap. It is also hard to believe that with all the illegal work you put into your scam that you could not see that I was playing a game with you. My fellow employees could not wait each morning to see if you were stupid enough to fall for another story or was it just your excessive greed that kept you on the line.

Some of my story lines would lead me to believe that you have no limits nor scrupples in you attempts to con people you don't even know. Any common buffoon, obviously not including yourself, would have recognized Mayberry, Andy, Barny, Otis, Earnest Bass, and others as vintage television characters known around the world.

In closing, I am sure that God will make a place especially for you and your associates who prey on other peoples greed or need. I noticed several websites warning of lowlife cons like yourself who give your country a very bad name. There is more than one where this information can be given for further investigation and prosecution. All in all, I truly do hope you get a just "payment" for your actions.
