Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled
"Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for
my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner
or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly
come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of
money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.
|If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage
to read more about 419 fraud.

> Thanks for responding to my mail, it is my pleasure choosing you as a
>true friend and it has been my dream to meet someone like you as a friend
>and thank God that I have found you.
> I had always wanted a friend from abroad and the fact that you have
>responded shows to a great extend the distance we are ready to go. I am not
>looking for adventures or games, but rather a sincere friend. Nevertheless
>I enjoy spoiling and pampering my friends and I also believe in God for
>everything I am doing I immensely value friendship; I hate conflict; I am
>sincere and detest hypocrisy; I am open minded; I respect others ideas and
>listen to them and I expect to be listened to too. I am witty and have a
>great sense of humour; I think our destiny is something we discover
>everyday, according to how we face it, what we do and what we don’t and I
>doubt there is a second chance for a first good impression.
> I love music and could not live without dancing. My favourites are
>listening to music in the 80s and 90s. I love to travel I have visited many
>places in the North East. Well, I grew up and did all my schooling here in
>Canada. As regards my family, I am the only child in my family, I am single
>lady. My father retired some years ago from the Canadian civil service
>while my mother is currently working with the CanadIaN International
>RecruITMENT Centre (CIRC), Vancouver, Canada.
> CIRC is an NGO currently holding and running a Workers Recruitment
>Program. This Program is widely sponsored, making it almost free for all
>participants of young people from the poorer countries of the world. I wish
>to extend this great opportunity to you as a friend and hope you will
>utilise it amicably.
> The program is currently running and spaces are still available for new
>applicants, as a friend, l cannot keep this information from you, because I
>feel it’s an opportunity for us to meet in the nearest future. There is
>something for everyone to do not minding your level of education and if you
>need more training, they will be ready to do so free of charge just to
>improve your level of efficiency and productivity.
> If you're interested, I'll stand by you during the processing of your
>documents and make a possible follow up. Contact the secretary (my mom)
>through this e-mail address: email@example.com, for all details and
>procedures on how to get on the program.
> While you apply for detail information, I will talk to my mom, and l
>will be here to stand for you and to monitor the situation in your favour,
>I will be happy to receive you here in my beloved country. Not that you're
>coming for work only but it's an opportunity for you to enter Canada
>without much stress. If you should apply for it, let them know that I
>recommend you for the programme and they will not waste time with your
>application. May be through this Program and by the special grace of God we
>might start affecting each other's life positively or at least be able to
>say that you have made me to know this or that. Surely, no one lives to
>himself or herself and what ever we can do today for one another may stand
>for our glory tomorrow.
> You should always keep me informed with the latest developments from the
>secretary, so that l will know what to do in your favour.
> I am already yours and I believe that you are mine too. I pray that the
>almighty God will guide, join us together and bless our friendship.
