In most of these offers the real deal is that they send you a false check (that may be honoured in the first place) and you return 90% of it by Western Union. When the check after a while bounces, you have lost all the money you sent.

I got your contact from the internet and decided to send you this mail...I am
writing you as decided by our organization. The name of our organization is West
Africa Soul Savers Association (WASSA) and I am the financial secretary. This
organization was established by a group of refugees from different parts of West
Africa, who have tasted the bitter part of wars.
We do our almost best to reach out to good Samaritans around the world, seeking
their kind hearts to assist us in which ever way possible to achieve our goals
and objectives. Our main goal is to channel these financial assistance/material
donations to those who are in desperate need and such people include war
victims, victims of natural disasters and the likes.
We are not actually soliciting financial help from you, but we need you to
assist us receive financial donations on behalf of our organization in your
country and upon the receipt of such donations, you will be give further
instructions on what to do with the funds.
If you agree to assist us, thus contributing your quota to helping the less
privileges, note that your major responsibility will be to assist in receiving
payments from some of my Europe; Canada and America donors who for one reason or
the other are only able to make such contributions by cheques(checks) clear-able
only in Canada and America banks. Hence we do not presently own accounts in
these countries to clear such cheques; we are soliciting your assistance to
stand for me as our representative in your country. You will have to receive and
cash the checks on our behalf from these humanitarian volunteers.
We have discussed this with our legal adviser and he has given us the go ahead
to share this with you and as soon as you agree with our request or proposal, we
would give you further instructions how to go about the process and send the
amount to the beneficiary/beneficiaries.
If you wish to be rewarded for your assistance, we have agreed to give you 5% of
any amount collected on behalf of our organization and this is just to show
appreciation for your service, but that depends on if you want the compensation.
According to the attorney, he will get in touch with you with further details
upon your approval that you can assist us handle the transaction. In other
words, upon the confirmation of your willingness to assist us, we would inform
our attorney about it and he will furnish you with the details. We require this
amounts to execute international projects met to benefit the less privileges and
which ever way you are able to assist, we would appreciate..We do want to
believe you are an honest person and will consider our situation and try to help
us from the bottom of your heart.
Well, we would definitely talk more on this, but in the meantime, we will like
to have your contact number to confirm whom we are dealing with and in my
opinion, I think we can begin from there.
