Here messages which I received. They are true ?
how are you today
Mine is a little bit cold over here in Dakar Senegal.
My name is Awa Gukama I 'm 22, from Ivory Coast in
West Africa,5.11ft tall, Fair in complexion,(never
married before )presently, i am residing in the
refugee camp here in Dakar, as a result of the civil
war that was fought in my country.
My late father! Dr, Frank Gukama, was the managing
director of Gukama and Associates (Ltd), and he was
the personal advicer to the former head of state,
before the rebel's attacked our house one early morning
they killed my mother, also with my father in cold blood.
It was only me that is alive now,but I managed to make
my way to a near by country Senegal, where i am living
now in a refugee camp, and this computer is belonging
to a revrend that has the church here in the camp.
I would like to know more about you.Your like's and
dislike's,your hobbie's and what you are doing
I will tell you more about myself, in my next mail.
Attached here, is my picture.
Hoping to hear from you soonest,
||Hello Dearest ,
How are you today?
I believe you are doing fine,
I am more than happy in your reply to my mail.
mine is a little bit cold over here in Dakar Senegal. Its just like one staying in the prison and i hope by Gods grace i will come out here soon.i don't have any relatives now whom i can go to all our relatives ran away in the middle of the war the only person i have now is (Rev. Ken Kamaga) who is the pastor of the (Christ for all Churches) here in the camp he has been very nice to me since i came here but i am not living with him rather i am leaving in the women's hostel because the camp have two hostels one for men the other for women.
The Pastors Tel number is (+221-357-35-49) if you call and tell him that you want to speak with me he will send for me in the hostel. As a refugee here i don't have any right or privilledge to any thing be it money or whatever because it is against the law of this country.I want to go back to my studies because i only attended my first year before the traggic incident that lead to my being in this situation now took place, i will be execpting your call today by 3pm gmt time.
Please listen to this,i have my late father's statement of account and death certificate here with me which i will send to you latter, because when he was alive he deposited some amount of money in a leading bank in Europe which he used my name as the next of kin,the amount in question is $9.7M (Nine Million seven Hundred Thousand Dollars). So i will like you to help me transfer this money to your account and from it you can send some money for me to get my travelling documents and air ticket to come over to meet with you.I kept this secret to people in the camp here the only person that knows about it is the Revrend because he is like a father to me.
So in the light of above i will like you to keep it to yourself and don't tell it to anyone for i am afraid of loosing my life and the money if people gets to know about it.
Remember i am giving you all this information due to the trust i deposed on you.I like honest and understanding people, truthful and a man of vision, truth and hardworking.
My favourite language is english but our language is french but i speak english very fluently.Meanwhile i will like you to call me like i said i have alot to tell you.
Have a nice day and think about me.
please i am waiting to hear from you soonest
Yours in love,

How is your day?.
I believe it was nice but would have been better with your love by your side.
Well i thank God that in a short time we will be doing everything in common as husband and wife till the end of my life.
I was reading my bible when the Rev Father Ken send for me to come to his office to send you mail and also he told me thatlawyer called him to tell you that the lawyer about the preparation of the power of attorney and in your mail tell him to infrom you when he is true with the preparation of doucments
My Husband i am really happy with your mail i read it and i understood every thing said on it clearly. I want you to that there are no words to express the gratitude I feel in my heart, that our hearts have come to dwell together, as one. You are my life, my heart, my soul. You are my one true love. You are my destiny. I love you more today than I did yesterday, and I'll love you more tomorrow than I do today. Loving you is the only thing that makes life worth living.
I want you to understand that i wrote that mail due my suffring sitaution here in this prison called refugee camp; Darling my condition is not good here thats why need you to be fast so that i will move out from this country. I love you Darling and I always will until I die. Hopefully, when that day comes, I will still have you by my side and you will be that last angel face I see. I will be able to hold you in my arms one last time and tell you how much I love you and how much you really mean to me.
Darling, please accept my heart as your own and listen to both of ours beating as one. You are my reason to live. Without you I'm nothing. The years will be a test, but nothing will keep me from loving you, or from being by your side. I love you more than you could even know, you are my world. I just wanted to let you know how much I love all that you are and will be. You're truly my love, my soul mate, my best friend and my wounderful husband.
For the first time in my life I have something to believe in. You've seen me at my worst and still take me as I am. I thank God for you every day because I know you're heaven sent, you are my angel. I love you from now till death do us part.
I want you and always will and there is nothing that will ever change the way I feel about you ... I love you! Love can make you do things that you never thought possible. See, there's a place in me where your fingerprints still rest, your kisses still linger and your whispers softly echo. It's the place where a part of you will forever be a part me. I promise, you'll always be in my heart. I love you.
I am waiting for your lovely good news today as you will send e mail to the lawyer to prepare us the power of attorney that is delaying the transfer of my money to your position for our lovely meeting.
Your lovely wife kate
I told Jacques that it was a scam, that it was all lies. He stopped all further contact with the scammers, and never sent them any money.
This story is very similar to the Awa Gukama story. You can also note that the first letter contained both the names Awa and Kate!
