Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am invited to an employment program and offered a job abroad. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never get the job, because it never existed. Most of these letters are spread via dating sites.

EYOU Gas Company Limited and Partners has the mandate to procure technical and expatriate labour to complement local personnel and contractors in series of project presently about to commence by EYOU Gas Company Limited, and the Chevron Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Joint Venture known as the LNG Plus project. EYOU Gas Company Limited, haven gone through the curriculum vitae/resume of contacted expatriates recommended for the project have found you qualified and decided to invite you as one of the expatriates to start work as soon as possible in London.

The Project will be carried out within the EYOU Gas Company Limited . Sub Branch Liaison Office, London.

Mondays through Fridays, Time: 9.00am to 4.00pm with break period between 12.00noon to 2.00pm. Expatriates are entitled to a one (1) month paid home leave.
7,500 GBP monthly (Tax Free)
Hazard/Inconveniences allowance, 5% of Basic salary.
Entertainment allowance? 5% of Basic salary.
All allowances are paid weekly and locally in Pounds equivalent at the existing exchange rate.

All expatriates are entitled to a one (1) month paid home leave, which can be taken once at a time or two (2) weeks apart one different period.
All expatriates shall be entitled to a leave allowance (in Pound Sterling) of an additional 100% percent of their basic salary. Free to and fro tickets to cover the span of their home leave. * No allowances on leave period.

Safety and Security of personnel Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and Communities are no small issue, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations.

All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Oil and Gas Sector. All expatriates are entitling to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. All safety wears shall be provided by the Company at Job Locations e.g. Safety Coveralls, Gloves, Goggles, Helmet and Safety Shoes etc. at applicable in the Oil and Gas Sector.

All expatriates shall be entitled to a comprehensive health care service, which are to be administered by Medical Experts on Job Locations. In a case of emergency situation, an expatriate will be flown to his home country or any country suitable for the best medical attention. This decision can be influenced by the findings of the Company's medical experts, unless the expatriate in question states otherwise.

After three (3) months of service all expatriates will be entitled to a Health Service Insurance Plan (HSIP) for family. The Health Service Insurance Plan is designed to cover only three (3) members of your family.

The Health Service Insurance Plan (HSIP) allowance can also be paid to the expatriates at the rate of $500.00 per family member per month ($1000.00 per month) which can be transferred on monthly basis without being subjected to tax.

Accommodation and feeding shall be provided for all expatriates, and by a Five Star Hotel in Metropolitan Area. All cuisine (Intercontinental/Continental) will also be provided by the Company through the services of the assigned hotel.

An official vehicle shall be provided on 24 hours daily basis to all expatriate for local transportation.
A round trip flight ticket to cover the span of your contract engagement will be provided and delivered to you on the completion of your relevant travel documents and immigration particulars.

Recreational/Sports Facilities shall also be made available at the disposal of all expatriates with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service will also be made available to all expatriates by the company’s laundry and dry cleaning unit.

There are standard telecommunication facilities and internet services at the disposal of all expatriates, and same shall be accessible to all personnel (Local/Foreign) without any charge or expenses to be incurred. Cellular Phones can be obtained by expatriates from the Local dealers/Service Providers in London, but must be used in accordance with the safety regulations on Job Locations.

Family status arrangements can only be applied after at least three (3) months of service. The Application of family status arrangement indicates that an expatriate will be entitled to a free visa and air fare for his wife or spouse or any other family member which is to be provided by the Company through the Traveling Department/Consultant.

Expatriates who intend to travel with their wife/spouse within the first three (3) months, this company will only be responsible to 50% of their total travel expenses which will be reimbursed within three months of service.

All expenses incurred in relation to this Job/Contract Engagement Process are liable to reimbursement within 72hours on arrival or will be reimbursed during interview in applicant's country. Such expenses include cost of obtaining medical certificate, Immunization/shots in the case were an expatriate gets such service from a special or personal doctor. Cost of obtaining Job Contract Engagement papers and Traveling Documents. Cost of transportation to and fro the embassy on the date of appointment if found satisfactorily committed. 20% payment paid to our Travels Department to facilitate travel arrangement as this firm will only make 80% payment to our Travels Department on your behalf. A prove of payment in form of an official receipt will facilitates a prompt reimbursement of all claims/expenses.

With respect to the expected time line of the project take-off EYOU Gas Company Limited has mandated a reliable Travel arrangement in London to ensure the processing of all traveling Document/Immigration particulars etc. in record time. If the conditions stated above are acceptable to you, you hereby directed to contact our Travels Department with:

- Appointment Registration Number: AD/STO/007/LND (*take note of this)
- Contact Mobile Telephone Number

These will enable our Travels Department indicate, verify and embark on your travel arrangement to London for commencement of work. You are advised not to contact the our Travels Department if you do not accept to pay 20% of your travel expenses to London. We have already made 80% payment on your behalf to facilitate swift processing of your travel arrangement to London. It is our policy that there should be commitment from the side of the applicant. As clearly shown above (11.0 Claims / Entitlement), all payment made by applicant in course of his/her travel is subject to reimbursement.

You are hereby advised at this stage to contact our Travels Department (via email) for processing of your travel arrangement to London. Due to the sky-scraping number of applicants that we have on our database and EYOU Gas Company Limited Annual General Meeting (AGM), all appointed applicants are given seven (7) days to comply with every requirement demanded by our Travels Department. Any applicant that is unable to meet the seven (7) days deadline given will automatically be disqualified with all personal information deleted from our database for employment.

Our Travels Department will render all service and assistance possible to facilitate your travel for commencement of work at the stipulated time. They have assured procurement of expatriate visa, work permit e.t.c. at the shortest time frame. They will contact and work with you.

** By Policy hard copies of your appointment documents will be sent to you via courier as you are certified pass by our Travels Department.
** This is a provisional appointment; final acceptance is subject to applicant meeting the company's requirements by accepting to pay 20% of his/her travel expenses to our Travels Department.
** Every payment made in course of your travel arrangement is subject to be reimbursed by this firm as you arrive London only with proof of payment
