Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Hello,

Wishing you, your family and well wishers a happy, joyfully

and prosperous New Year! I hope this mail meets you well. I duly
apologize if am interfering on your privacy if this request is not
acceptable to you. First, I didn't come to you by chance nor by
accident, I have come to you because your names has planted you in the
centre of relevant in my life and my professional career as a banker at
this very moment of my life. But before I go further I will like to
introduce myself to you for better understanding. My name is Mr.David
Jackson, Banker with a reputable bank here in Cote d¢Ivoire ( Ivory
Coast ) and I am contacting you in regards to a business transfer of a
large sum of money from a dormant account. Though I know that a
transaction of this magnitude will make any one apprehensive and
worried, but I am assuring you that all will be well at the end of the
day. I was the personal accounts manager to a deceased customer, a
foreigner, Mr Joseph , who had an account with us here in Cote d¢Ivoire
( Ivory Coast ). On July 7, 2005, series of coordinated terrorist bomb
blasts hit the London Subways, resulting in the loss of more than 52
people and unfortunately my client, his wife, and their three children
were among the people that died on that fateful day. Since then I have
made several inquiries to your embassy to locate any of my clients
extended relatives but has been unsuccessful. After several unsuccessful
attempts, I decided to trace his last name over the internet, to see if
I could locate any member of his family hence I contacted you. Of
particular interest is this huge deposit with our bank here in my
country Cote d¢Ivoire in west Africa (Ivory Coast), where the deceased
has an account valued at about (15 million British Pounds Sterling). They
have issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or our bank will
declare the account unserviceable and thereby send the funds to the bank
treasury. Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for
the past years, I will seek your consent to present you as the next of
kin of the deceased, since you share the same last name with the
deceased so that the proceeds of this account valued at (15 million
British Pounds Sterling) can be paid to you and then you and I can share
the money. All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us seeing
this deal through. I guarantee that this will be executed under all
legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the
law. In your reply mail, I want you to give me your full names,
address, date of birth, telephone and fax numbers. If you can handle
this with me, reach me now for more details.I can be easily reaches
through this email id jacky2_69@yahoo.fr Thanking you for your
anticipated cooperation. Sincerely, Mr.David Jackson

Dear Friend,

I got your mail and I hope this meets you well. I want to start this mail by first and foremost thank you sincerely for making out time to read and respond to my mail of this early hours of morning and it is an honour from you to have giving me full attention on this issue at hand and your sincerity. It is true that we do not know each other, I found myself in this opportunity and with my position I had no option than to give out this blind trust and I will appreciate if I can confide in you for this business that will profit us both.

Like I said in my previous mailI didn't come to you by chance or by accident, I contacted you because your last name has planted you in the centre of relevant in my life and professional career as a banker. I will have you understand that in the event of death of any of our clients who does not leave a receiving next-of-kin in his form, An enquiry is usually set up to search out a possible relative to claim his/her estate. It is in the course of this enquiry/search that your details were submitted to me as a possible next-of-kin to our deceased client, Mr. Raymond JosephYoung, who was residence here in Abidjan , Cote d’Ivoire .

This is where your name came in, and my proposal was sent to you with the strong belief that together, we can actualise this project and share the proceeds. I am the managing director and head of Private Banking Division and Audit & Records with BIAO-RCI (www.biao.ci) and I have within my grasp the instrument to bring this project to a successful conclusion with your assistance and co-operation where and when the need arises. We can pull this through within the shortest possible time if you respond fast to issues as they come. We can conclude this transaction within 9-Banking/working days and have the money in your account. We may be required to make some financial commitments to actualise this project, but it will not be much that both of us cannot handle.

This transfer will be done under the legitimate BTO of my country, what I want from you is your honesty. You will have to play a very big role for us to actualise this transaction that is why I am offering you a 50:50 sharing ratio. This is a pure deal and needs a partnership attention from you. All I want is for you to promise to be steadfast all through. After the transfer, you will help me open an account in your country where you will lodge my own part of the money pending my arrival.

The money is held in a coded suspense account and I have all the access information, which I will give to you thereafter. When the money will be transferred, it will be labelled as inheritance so there will not be any problem with your government authorities, all we owe them is their tax and nothing more. The only risk I foresee here is your alerting my bank or your refusal to work with me.

I will work on the account file in your favour as the legal beneficiary with your full information (your full names, contact address, date of birth & tel/fax numbers) which I expect you to send in your next reply and thereafter I will forward you an application, which you will forward to our bank officially. I really want us to treat everything concerning this transaction with uttermost secrecy.

Please I do not want any direct link between you and me. My official lines are not secure lines as they are periodically monitored to assess our level of customer care in line with our total Quality Management Policy. Please observe this instruction religiously. Do not betray my confidence. My dear ,

I got your mail and I hope this meets you well. Thank you very much for your question, it shows that I have contact a matured mind. Now this late man has an America nationality, but with your name being same with his, the deal is done. In the banking system, what counts is the information in the account file that is all. Now for your account, if you have an account in India , we can use it, but if you do not, there is no problem with the one you have in St Helena . As I told you before, this is an inheritance transfer, with the legal papers from this country, any country you decide to transfer it to will be happy with you, because of the tax they will deduct from the money. So you don’t have anything to be afraid of.

All I need from you are just your full information so that I will work on the account file in your favour as the next of kin before I give you an application letter to contact the bank with.

I am waiting for your positive reply.

David.

My country is a French country, but my bank is an international bank, there fore attended to customers with their language of understanding. On getting information from the internet about the bank and its staff and other things is a difficult thing these days. You must be aware of scam and bank frauds all over the world now, there fore not all things are exposed in the site. Please be careful with your enquires, because your information’s are not yet entered into the account file as the real next of kin, there fore if you make any enquire that will demand the bank to cross check the account file, it will be difficult to enter your information again.

For opening of account, again the whole legal papers accompanying the transfer of the inheritance will cover that. I am a professional banker. If you want to cross check me, I can send you my work ID for your view if you so wish

I got your mail and I hope this meets you well.I sawyour mail you FWD I believe came from the lawyer. Thanks for the update. I know that we have to pay for the documents as I told you early that we may be required to make some financially commitment, but I know is not more than the two of us can handle. First, I most confess that you have a very high and good spirit and faith on this deal. Things have just gone as planned. I am happy that I contacted you. For the fees, just know that you are not in this alone so I do not expect you to bear the cost alone. We have to work on the money because I cannot afford £8,772 right now.

I have check what I have on me now, and when converted will amount to £5000. I have a cousin who is a business man base in Ghana and Ihave credited his account with my bank here with my £5000now and I have instructed him to sendthe total £5000to the information the lawyer gave you through money gram and get back to me with the wire information which I will send to you to FWD to the lawyer for collection.

You know that do to the nature of this deal, I can't make the drop myself to the lawyer and good a thing, my cousin is not the type that questions people's business. I know and remember that you told me of your financially position, but if you still have a good spirit for this deal, nothing is to small. Anything from you will help reduce the stress of my raising the whole money alone. So, please arrange something on the balance of £3772 from your side and send it too through money gram or western union and send the wire information to the lawyer and tell him that the balance will get to him as you are waiting for your business partner to make a payment of £5000 from Ghana .

As soon as I get the information’s from my cousin I will send it to you ok, while you try and arrange something from your side okay. Try on your side to see that we meet up with the payment so that everything concerning these documentswill be concluded and the money transferred to you accountby thisweek.

From the lawyer's mail I understood that his service charge is not included in this fees, but he accepted your paying him when his job is done and which you know that only when the transfer money is confirmed in your account, you will know that his job is done and you will pay him from there.

I await your further instructions.

The money may not be for you, but is for me! Never you be negative on this deal again. Because, we are to pay £8772 to get £15,000,000.00, and you are saying that is not made for you not me. I have always respected your person and option and I hope you do same with me. My email to you yesterday did not say that you should pay for the balance of £3772, NO! But since it will be difficult for me to raise the whole £8722, that anything from you is welcome. As I am writing you this mail, I ask my cousin to borrow me some money, which he said he will call me back but he is sure it won’t be more than £1000. I stole my wife expensive jewelleries and have sent them to gold dealers for sale, which also I was told will not be more that £1500. These efforts are just to make sure that we meet up with the documentation fees and get the money transferred to your account. I expected to read from you this morning as my partner saying that you sent $2000 or so to the lawyer and he said the balance is this or that. That is a good partner’s work, not telling me after all we have been through, to give up.

Send my £5000 wire information to the lawyer together with whatever untied States Dollars you have and ask him to tell you the balance.

Please, inform me as soon as possible when he confirms receiving this money.

Giveing her, her share is not a problem, but you mopst have to come to an agreement with her, so that not when the money gets to your account she will change her mind and ask for more. I am suggesting that you tell her that she will be given 10% on the amount she borrowed you. Meenwhile, what did you tell her you want the money for?
Again, 22_23 is far for me and all i have now is nothing but only £1970 British Pounds.

Anyway I believe you are matured enough to know who to tell and who not to tell, because of the amount involved and you know that is not everybody around you that will buy your vision. Anyway, if she agrees after you told her, there is no problem. How much is she loaning you? And can’t she get it before 22nd?

WHAT BROUGHT ABOUT DOUBT? SO YOU THINK IF I HAD ALL THE £8772, I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU? OR ARE YOU NOT READING MY MAILS, WHERE I TOLD YOU I ASK MY COUSIN TO BORROW ME MONEY AND MY WIFE JEWELLERIES I STOLE TO BE SOLD. IS THAT KEEPING QUITE? I CAN SEE FROM YOUR MAIL THAT YOU ARE THE ONE HAVING DOUBT ME, HENCE YOU WANT TO PUSH ME TO THE WALL TO CARRY OUT THE WHOLE EXPENSES ALONE. MY DEAL WITH YOU REMAINS 50/50 AFTER DEDUCTION OF EXPENSES, SO DON’T EVEN THINK THAT BECAUSE I BROUGHT £5000, IT WILL NOT BE DEDUCTED BEFORE SHARING. IF I HAD ALL THE MONEY, I WILL NOT WAIT FOR YOU MONTH END, WHICH YOU ARE NOT EVEN SURE OF!

am now sure that you want to kill my dreams. Since I now see you as a rude and unserious person, I don¢t need to waste my time with. As you know, I am a serious minded person and will do every thing to make sure that I archive my goal. After trying hard to see that this deal is still between us, you left me with no option than this, so I will appreciate that you do, as I demand. As I don't want this deal to run out of my hand, I had to take drastic step to save this deal as I have put in more then enough in it and will not like it to justend like that. I have contacted a new foreign partner from Asia who is willing to pay the balance of the fee that is remaining and undertake any further expense on this. We have being negotiating since last week after reading your mail and just a couple of minutes ago we concluded so I decided to write you quickly and inform you so that you can back up.

His name is Buda Banny and he will pay the balance. I have explained everything to him, but for me to get him to work with me, I have to dance to his conditionand all he needs from you is a letter of intent saying that you are not around and that you have appointed one of your companies in Asia to finalise the matter. A copy will be sent to the bank,a copy to the lawyer and also a copyto him, here is his email:mmpinvestmentsltd@japan.com. Pleasesend the letter right away, so that the man can proceed with the payment. In they letter instruct both the bank and the lawyer to make use of his account information for the transfer.

Meanwhile, when we are through with the deal in success, I will contact you and give you something to compensate you at least to prove to you that I am not what your think I am and also show you what you have missed. Thanks again. Bye.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Sir,

I am writing this letter to all those involve in the claiming of my inheritance from BIAO Bank Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, that due to my absence for some family reasons, I am dedicating a representative from one of our family company (MMP Investments Ltd) in Asia to represent me and conclude the transfer of my inheritance to MMP account which he will provide to you on request. The name of my representative is Mr. BUDA, Banny. I have instructed him and he will contact you with all information need to make the transfer a reality.

With this letter of intent I instruct BIAO BANK and EQUITY CHAMBERS to support and give all necessary assistance they can to Mr BUDA Banny and that all expenses will be paid by him, hence all further correspondence should be with Mr BUDA Banny and not me again.

Thanking you in advice for your co-operation.
