Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

Subject: Dear Friend,



Dear Friend,

After waiting and no response was heard, I deposited your $500.000.00 US
Dollars, as consignment box to ALERT SECURITY COMPANY because I
travelled to SPAIN to visit my friend and I will not come back till May,
2008.

Contact the ALERT SECURITY COMPANY immediately to have them release your
consignment and have it delivered to you.

I have paid for the insurance fee, the only fee you will paying to them
is the security keeping fee of US$650 for safe guarding your consignment
since the deposition day.

You will have to contact them immediately or you would be asked to pay
additional US$100 once you dont meet up on time.
