Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL

I am Dr. Omar Ahmed Assad, the Financial controller of the Nigeria
National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) The Largest government owned
petroleum Company in west Africa with over $10.2Trillion USD Capital
Investment.

Nevertheless, as the financial controller for many years, I handle all
foreign contracts of this corporation and during the military regime of
General Sani Abacha the then Nigeria Head of State years past, some
contracts were awarded to foreign contractors for the reconstructions and
maintenance of all the oil pipe lines of the three major Nigeria
refineries, namely the kaduna refinery, Lagos refinery and Port Harcourt
refinery (Eleme) and the companies that executed this contract has
successfully completed their respective contracts and has been duly paid
for, but as the head of all financial matters I and some of my office
members jointly over estimated some of these contracts and after the
foreign companies has been duly paid, the over estimated sum is what we
want to transfer out now, it is at this point that I was mandated to look
for a reliable and trustworthy person or company that can handle this for
us.

Meanwhile, I have worked out the strategies and technicalities whereby the
funds can be claimed without any hitch. all we need to do it for you to
come as a front and we shall present you as one of the company that has
executed this contract and then fill up the required contract documents we
have here and then submit the contract file to the Federal ministry of
finance for approval before final payment will be made, the over estimated
amount you are to receive will come as an outstanding contract payment
which has been longed over due for payment by the Federal Government of
Nigeria for many years, but the military regime in power as at then
refused to pay it due to some sanctions imposed on Nigeria as at that
time, and now that the new Civilian government is in power they have
called all foreign contractors being owed by Nigeria for them to come with
their proof of claims if they are being owed by the past military regime,
its at this juncture that we decided to look for a partner who will
understand what he is expected to do so that we will use this opportunity
to receive this over estimated sum.

The over estimated contracts all put together is $29.4m united states
dollar and all documents to back up the claims will be made available to
you once we have obtained all necessary approvals required for the
payment, I will also open up a file in your name or if you have a company
then it will be in your company name as one of the registered foreign
contractors with Federal Government of Nigeria and also attached with the
Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation here and then I shall start up all
the under ground work, this file that I will build up in your name shall
be presented to the Contract Governing Board Council (The CGBC) for
verifications and approval and once your file is approved then we have
completed everything, you will be contacted to come down for signing of
the contractors Funds Release Order at our off shore payment center
nearest to you as directed by the Federal Government of Nigeria, and this
signing will facilitate and expedite the transfer of the funds to your
account through our Federal reserve account.
This old contract debt settlement is as directed by the IMF and World bank
as a sing of positive change in the new Nigeria civilian government and
also to encourage other foreign contractors.

This is a fair deal without any risk attached on either your part or on my
part as long as we complied with the laws governing the claiming of funds
in our establishment, within 20 working days everything will be completed
and our sharing ratio is 40% of the total sum will be for you for your
assistance, while 55% will be for me, while 0.5% will be set aside for any
expenses both parties might incur during the process of this transaction.
Should incase you are interested, Please email me urgently.

Sincerely,
Omar Ahmed Assad
