Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Mrs My Dear,
How are you doing today and I hope you are OK. I am glad for your mail
I received today . It might also interest you to know why I'm in this unforeseen conditions. Like I told you in my earlier mail that I lost my parents.
It is a situation which I don't normally like to remember because whenever
I do it my heart bleeds.

However, it happens that My late father Dr Robinson Johnson was a minister of Science and Technology before the rebels attacked our House on one Saturday evening killing my mother and my father as a result of civil war in my country. It was only me that survive the attack because I was in school then and I managed to make my way to the near by countrySenegal where I'm staying now. I know it will sound strange to you but it is a simple true life story of mine.
I want you to take me as one of your closest friends or sisters, and to take care of my affairs and inheritance.
The kind of life I am experiencing here is more than being in hell. It's just like one staying in a prison and I hope by God's grace I will come out there very soon. I don't have any relatives now whom I can go to; all my relatives ran away in the middle of the war the only person I have now is Rev John Paul who is the pastor of the (Christ The King Church)here in the camp he has been very nice to me since i came here but i am not living with him rather i am leaving in the women's hostel because the camp have two hostels one for men the other for women.

The Pastors Tel number is (00221 777-174-359) you can call me by 4.00 pm (GMT) and if you call tell him that you want to speak with me he will send for me in the hostel. As a refugee here i don't have any right or privilege to any thing be it money or whatever because it is against the law of this country.
I want to go back to my studies because i only attended my first year before the tragic incident that lead to my being in this situation now took place.
Please I will be leaving for now because my time is up.
Moreover, I will like you to do me a favour and I will tell you that in my next mail.
It will be for our own good. Have a nice day and hopping to hear from you.
Yours in Love,
Mariah.

Mrs My Dear Sweetie,
I am happy to receive your mail and I appreciate you. I have something to reveal to you because you care about me.
Please listen to this thing, that I am going to tell you now. I have my late father's statement of account and death certificate here with me which I will send to you later. My late father deposited some amount of money in a leading bank in abroad which he used my name as his next of kin when he was still alive.

The total amount of money in that account is £ 2.8M ( Two Million Eight Hundred Thousand British Pounds ) I informed the bank about my intention to claim my late father's deposit of which my name appears as his next of kin. The only thing the bank told me is to look for a foreign partner who will assist me in the transfer due to my refugee status inSenegal. As a refugee I am not allowed for direct claim of the money but through an appointed representative as the united refugee law governing refugee all over the world states.

Please, I would like you to send me your full personal data and contact address so that I can inform the Bank about you as my foreign partner and for you to help me transfer this money into your account. So after the transfer you will send some money to me to prepare my travelling documents and come over to meet you. I kept this secret to people in the refugee camp here. The only person that knows about it is the Reverend John because he is like a guardian to me.
Please I will like you to keep it to yourself and don't tell anybody about this for I am afraid of loosing my life and the money if people get to know about it. I am giving you all this information due to the trust I deposed on you.
What I need from you is to make sure that the money is transferred into a good account as soon as possible and also make the necessary arrangements on how I will come over and meet you and to continue my life and education.
Thanks for your caring and God bless you.
Hopping to hear from you soon.

Yours in Love,
Mariah.
