Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Please note that our foreign operations department has concluded action on the transaction. The transfer is now ready.

The problem that we have now is that you are required to pay a total of $1,800.00 (one thousand eight hundred U.S. Dollars only) being stamp duty charge on the total sum. This money will be paid to the federal Inland Revenue Service (firs) and the receipt of payment will be submitted to our bank. Upon the receipt of the payment, our bank will automatically transfer the 1.8m to your account without further delay.

You know that i have spent so much money to bring this transaction to the level that it is now my dear. I have also borrowed money which i spent to arrange this transaction. I do not have more money to spend my dear. I therefore beg you to assist me to raise this money.

Note that the amount is $1,800.00 (one thousand eight hundred U.S. Dollars) only. The moment i receive this money, i will pay it to the firs and collect the receipt of payment. I will then submit the receipt of payment to our foreign operations department to enable them to transfer the $1.8m to your account without delay.

Please raise this money and send it to Nigeria by western union or money gram without delay. I will give you the name of my assistant and you will use his name to send the money my dear. Please treat this as urgent.

Best regards

John gelsthorp.
