Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

I am Mohd Yacob Karim, an attorney at law. A deceased client of mine, by name, Mr HarrisonYoung, who here in after shall be referred to as my client, died as the result of a heart-related condition on the 11th November, 2004. His heart condition was due to the death of all the members of his family in the Air Philippines Boeing 737-200 that crashed in a foggy coconut grove in the southern Philippines on April 19, 2000 - 4:25 p.m., as reported on http://www.firehouse.com/news/2000/4/19_APplane.html

I decided to contact you to assist in distributing the money left behind by my late client before it is confiscated or declared unserviceable by the finance house where this deposit valued at 4.2 million dollars is lodged. This bank has issued me a notice to contact the next of kin, or the account would be confiscated.

My proposition to you is to seek your consent to present you as the next-of -kin and beneficiary of my named client, since you have the same last name, so that the proceeds of this account can be paid to you. Then we can share the amount on a mutually agreed-upon percentage. All legal documents backing up your claim as my client's next-of-kin will be provided. All I require is your honest co-operation and trust,to enable us see this transaction through.

This will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. If this business proposition offends your moral values, do accept my apology. I must use this opportunity to implore you to exercise the utmost indulgence to keep this matter extraordinary confidential, whatever your decision, while I await your prompt response. Please contact me at once to indicate your interest. I will like you to acknowledge the receipt of this e-mail as soon as possible. This transaction I believe, will be treated as private, with absolute confidentiality and sincerity.
