I valued your friendship in life. I am Marian Salamat Hashim a daughter to late Mr. Salamat Hashim from Philippines who was the founder of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) who died in July 2003. My main purpose of contacting you is to help me achieve my only wish in life, as i am mailing from my hospital room/bed with tears on my face. The Philippines has inherited and developed a deep hatred against Islam and the Muslim people. After annexing the Bangsamoro homeland, a systematic design to liquidate Islam and to destroy the Islamic identity of the Bangsamoro Muslims was launched. The MILF led up a program to be implemented phase by phase in twenty years (from 1981-2000). This program covers all aspects of "Jihad in the way of Allah" and human endeavors.

Salamat Hashim was born on 7th July, 1942 in the Municipality of Pagalungan, Maguindano. He comes from a religious family of seven.

Salamat's first teacher was his mother. It was through her tutorship and guidance that at the age of six he could read the Holy Qur'an and memorised many of its verses. At the age of six he started formal education, finishing his elementary education in 1954 with honours and his secondary education in 1958 also with honours.

In 1958, Salamat joined the pilgrims from the Philippines for Hajj. He took this opportunity to stay behind and study in Makkah under the care of Sheikh Zawawi. He attended regularly the halaqat held at the Masjid al Haram and enrolled at the Madrasat as-Sulatiyah ad-Diniyah.

In 1959, he went to Cairo, which at that time was the centre of political activism in the Middle East. There, he enrolled at Al-Azhar University. He graduated from al-Azhar's Ma'had al-Buhuth al-Islamiyyah as-Sanawiyyah in 1963, then enrolling at al-Azhar's college of Theology for a bachelor's degree program majoring in Aqeedah and Philosophy and graduated in 1967. Pursuing his scholastic inclination further, he took up his postgraduate courses in the same university and finished his master's degree in 1969. He completed the academic requirements for a doctoral degree, but was unable to write his dissertation because he had to return to the Philippines by then to organise the Moro revolutionary movement.

Salamat was an active student leader. His active participation to different student activities exposed him to various revolutionary trends, both Islamic and Secular, which Cairo was known for at that period. This exposure brought him awareness of the colonial oppression his Muslim brothers and sisters were suffering back home, an awareness which gradually transformed him from a scholar to an Islamic revolutionary.

Among the student organisations he took part in are the Philippine Muslim Student Association and the Organisation of Asian Students in Cairo. He was elected President of the former and Secretary-General of the latter.

While in Cairo, he clandestinely organised a core group among the Bangsamoro Muslim students who planned the Bangsamoro revolution in the early sixties. To finance their early activities, each member contributed half of his meager allowance to a common fund.

It is interesting to note that amongst the revolutionary Muslim thinkers who influenced Salamat, two Muslim personalities made a lasting impression on him: Syed Qutb and Syed Abul A'la Maududi. It was, however, Syed Qutb's writings which shaped his Islamic outlook and political beliefs. The impact that Syed Qutb and Maududi made on him was what inspired him to plant the seeds of Islamic revolution in the Bangsamoro homeland.

Known but to a few, Salamat was the one responsible for covertly arranging the military training of the first batch of cadres (Batch 90) that was to become the military core group of the Moro National Liberation Front. Working with a prominent political leader, he laid the groundwork for the organisation of the Bangsamoro armed struggle.

My Dear , in regard to what you requested from me. I will like you to know that i am still in the hospital and i have been hospitalized for over 2years now and i cannot laid my hand in my family photos for now,reason because,i'm far away from home for over 2years and i am still in my sick bed as i'm mailing you with tears on my eyes or have you forgotting that i narated the story of my life to you in the second mail that i sent to you?. It is the hospital laptop i'm using to send you all this mail that i'm sending to you in the despensary unit and intensive ward operation.

The only thing i can lay my hand on now is my presonal full identity and depository document of the fund and the security company contact details that i installed in my private email contact id when the hard stress of my late father kindred's took possession of all my late father belongist; which i will send all to you for your perusal in our next communication. I want you to understand that it is the will of the lord that this consignment is still existing till date because after the death of my late father his relatives took possession of all his bank notes and documents and his other investments just because i'm a girl,even his company in Cote d'ivoire was sold, but they never knew about the consignment and the content because it was not deposited in a bank which this was all that i inherited from my late father apart from one small bongalow that i sold when my sickness was getting worst.

I have made adequate enquiry about this transaction both in financial aspect because before i do anything with anybody i must be very plain and transparent with that person. From the explanations of the security company i was meant to understand that when you submit the application to the company, the security company will acknowledge receipt and commence verification to find out if you are the real owner of the consignment or if you are duly authorized to apply for the consignment release and liftment by the original "next of kin"(me) which will be done before they will give you the details of the consignment.

Then after the security company have completed their verification they will also cross-check the deposit documents and details that we shall submit to them to see if it corresponds with the deposit details of the depositor (My late father) in their digital file to finally confirm that we are his real next of kin and if it corresponds they will proceed to process the consignment liftment to you through the designated address that you shall submit to them.

Note that if the details and deposit documents that we shall submit to the
security company does not correspond with the details on their digital file our application will be disqualified by the security company and they will not accept to collect the airway bill shipment and processing fee from us because they will state that we are not the original next of kin to the deposit and for that reason the consignment will not be lifted to you which there will not collect any fee from you for any processes or liftment since it will not be released to you.

But if the details and deposit documents that we shall submit to the security company corresponds with the details in their digital file the security company will agree to process the consignment liftment to you, so it is only on this note that the security company will require you to pay the" official "airway bill shipment and processing fee" which will be less than $800 united state dollars and this is definitely the only fee required all through the transaction and till you receive the trunk box in your country/address that you shall send to them.

The other need for the airway bill shipment and processing fee as explained by the security company is that it will cover the expenses for the preperation of all the shipment documents needed for a hitch-free delivery and the liftment charges too besides all neccessary certifications that will be done to ensure that the consignment will not be searched or scanned till it is received by you in your country.
