My email address has never been on a "Hotel contact list", so I know he is lying. He sent me the same letter 3 times within 5 minutes, to email addresses harvested on a webpage.

In this case the scammer does not promise millions of dollars in the opening letter. He is looking for people that are trustworthy, and the real purpose of the "business proposal" is revealed at a later stage.

I send an email that I am interested, but get no reply. Maybe I have more luck next time
