When are you sending the money for the yellow tag of your consignments to enable our diplomats effect the shipment of your consignments? Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.

James Smith.

Dear James,

We have gone through our records once again, and cannot find any trace of a consignment expected to arrive from Lagos. We have also looked at the picture you sent, and cannot recognize the trunks.

Therefore I see no reason to pay $2870 for some boxes with unknown content. The boxes might be empty or contain stuff with no value to me.

Things are becoming a bit complicated. as you requested I have stopped mailing Chris, but he just sent me the same picture that you sent me with the diplomat and the trunks. He claims it is taken in London.

Since it is not possible to see whether the picture is from London or Lagos, I guess I have to believe you, when you say that the boxes are in Lagos? But how can Chris send me the same picture? Do you know him, or did you send him the picture?

I guess the I will have to ask you to send a new picture of the boxes together with a new Lagos newspaper.

Dear James,

I received all your mails. I have been travelling all day, so I havent seen them until now.

I dont understand your problem. I sent the money to the customs as you requested, and faxed the MTCN to them. All you have to do is to go to them and ask them to confirm that they have received the money from me. They were sent in my name: Miss Young.

Dear Miss Young,

We cannot go to the Customs for any reasons whithout having the MTCN with us. The normal proccedure is that our Diplomats will forward the MTCN with the senders name text question and answers to the Customs and they will confirm it and give us a receipt which we will still send to you for your confirmation and your consignments will be stamped for immediate delivery.

So if you are sure that you send the money, kindly forward all the above information I stated above and your consignments will be delivered immediately.

I wait to receive the informations.

Thank you.
Mr. James Smith.

Dear James,

I am very disappointed with you. You are behaving in a very unprofessional way.

I dont understand your delaying the transport of my consignment. Are you trying to steal it from me?

What is keeping you from putting in on the plane?

As you know, I payed the money to the customs on November 17th, and send them a fax with the MTCN. The money is for them, so why should I send the MTCN to you?

Anyway, I have sent a new fax to the customs, explaning the situation, and have asked them to contact you, in case you dont contact them first. I dont have your telephone number so I could only give them your emailaddress.

Please contact the customs as soon as possible, so that we finally can get this business closed.

Have a nice day, ...

Miss Young,

I see that you are not serious in receiving your consignments; you don't tell me how to do my job. I don't care if you are disappointed in me or not, I have instructed you on what to do by sending the MTCN, sender's name, text question and answer so that our Diplomats can forward it to the customs. Since you said that you have faxed it to the customs, what stops you from telling the customs to put your consignments in the plane since you feel that you are too fast in getting your consignments; if you are serious, send the above information's if you are sure that you really made the payment on 17th November as you claim. Stop deceiving yourself and be straightforward in your life. I don't contact the customs unless we have the payment information.

If you are not ready to adhere to our instructions and directives, stop contacting us and given us fake information because we operate with information.

Thank you.
Mr. James Smith.

James is getting tired, so let me send him a file:

Dear James,

I still dont understand why you need the MTCN, but if this is the only way to get on with the transport, I suppose I have to trust you.

I have attached the receipt that also was faxed to the customs.

Please remember the new picture of the consignment that you promised.

Subject: Sent Payment Info

Dear Miss Young,

You are making things to be difficult for yourself and delaying us in delivering your consignments. We have assured you that we will give you every information needed for you to receive your consignments by firstly sending you a new picture of our diplomats with your consignments and delivering your consignment to your doorstep.

The attached information which you sent to us could do open in our computer, all you have to do is to write down the information of the MTCN by sending the control number, sender's and receiver's name, text question and answer. With this information, we can then go and present it to the customs for them to clear your consignments for onward shipment to your doorstep.

Go ahead and send the informations as soon as possible if you really want your consignments to be delivered and if you are sure that you make any payment. This is just a very simple matter.

Thank you.
Mr. James Smith.

Dear James,

I dont understand why you could not open the file. It as my freind Louis that made the transfer, and the file was the scanned-in copy of the receipt that he sent me.

Anyway, I have called him, and he informs that the payment was by Western Union: MTCN 2616910407. The testquestion is "First president in Nigeria".

I hope you succeed this time, ...

Subject: Be Serious.

You need to be serious if you really want your consignments to be delivered to you. How can you just send the MTCN and text question thinking that we can go to the customs office with the two informations? I told you if you are sure that you send the money to the customs as I directed you, send us the MTCN, senders first and second name, receivers names as I directed you, text question and answer. If you cannot send these informations as I stated above, stop contacting this office for any shipment because we other things to do that is more importanmt than yours because you are not serious.

Thank you.

Mr. James Smith.

Sorry James, that I only sent part of the information, but the rest of the information you had already, so I did not find it necessary to send it. I must have overestimated your intelligence.

Here it is again: Western Union. MTCN 2616910407, Senders name Miss Young, Receivers name: METU MARK KELECHI, LAGOS. NIGERIA. Testquestion "First president in Nigeria".

It is all in the receipt I sent!

Subject: STOP CONTACTING THIS OFFICE.

You should stop contacting this office regarding your shipment because you did not send any money. We checked the information at the western union money transfer websit online and there is no money there. Do you think that we are fools? Stop contacting this office or we will get you arrested by the police because you are trying to claim what did not belong to you.

James Smith.

Dear James,

Stop behaving like a child. The simple reason that you cannot locate the payment on Western Unions website is that the money has been collected by the customs a long time ago. I dont understand your panic. You told me yourself that the money was to be paid to the customs, and that is exactly what happened. On top of this you are imcompetent with a computer, since you could not open the receipt I sent you. And how can you ask a question like "Who is the sender?", when you have seen my name on every mail I sent you? If you want to call in the police, please do, as I have nothing to hide. I was YOU that insisted that the consignment should be sent to me, and you did not come up with any proof of its existance.

The bottom line is that you failed in trying to sell some non-existing consignment to me. This business is finished as soon as I get the customs to return my money to me.

Bye, ...

After more than 3 weeks, he finally dropped me.
