Hi Dear, How are you doing?.i`m caught up in a predicament and seeking your assistance. Well, i came down to Lagos for a visit and don`t really have much at hand to get back to the states.Not that i don`t have money with me but the banks overhere can`t cashed American Orders becaus of banking sistem.My parents could have done that but they too are empty handed due to the situation in New Orleans. I humbly wish you listen to my cried and assist me with any amount you can. Reply soon, Jenny.
	I received this email shortly after the Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. Watch out for similar emails from strangers. Every disaster is used as an excuse for the scammers to try to con people.
	The following year, N.I. sent me this:
	To: missyoung Sent: Wednesday, May 24, 2006 Subject: Is this Fraud? Hi there, I recently put an electronic item up for sale on CraigsList.com. I recieved a reply and immediately suspected fraud. Gloria.** Notice she refers to it as "the item" and never tried to negotiate. So I "GOOGLED" her emial address and it brought me to your site. 419.bittenus.com. Is this emial address involved in suspisious and fraudulent activity? I think I may just refuse this offer non-the-less. Thanks. N.I.
