Good Day Dear,

I deem it a respect and honour as well as priviledge to write you, on my deep conviction about you, after my deligent search for a honest and trustworthy
someone,of which I have chosen you to assist me for the transfer of an inheritance, which I inherited from my late father that was poisoned to death by his bussiness associates. My name is Joy Gomo,I  am 21yrs old,a native of
Sierra-leone in West African region in the local districk of Konobo and am the only child of late Chief Richard Gomo,my late father is a Diamond Office in the
Republic of Sierra-leone.But before his death in a private hospital here in Abidjan,Ivory coast, he told me of a fixed deposit of US$12,000,000 he had with a prime bank in Abidjan, which he made me the next of kin,my mother died when I was two yrs old.

I have met the bank manager and declared to him my intention to transfer this fund out of Africa,as adviced me by my father for my security and of the
money, which I want to, further my education overseas, and he is asking me for my guardian,in order to terminate the Fixed investement and release of the
fund,as signed in the Agreement Bond with the Bank Authority , in case of sudden death.,which I need your assistance to present you to the bank as my guardian for the transfer of this money into your account.

Please remember the confidentiality and urgency my
mail required while I expect to read from you.

Thanks and remain blessed.

Yours  truly,

Joy Gomo.

Dearest one,

I got your mail and i thank you. Well you don't have to be nervous because i am sincere and needs your kind help. I have never done anything like this before too but everything has a beginning so this is the first time for both of us and we have to follow the advice of the bank who have been into the system for long time. Like this my father's bank, i trust them and they have kept this money for a long time now so they will give us the best advice we need ok. Don't worry.

I will be happy to tell much more about myself but the first thing foremost is the transfer which bodders me because i have to get myself to normal standard like before so i can be free to express myself very well. I am 21 years now and why i chose you is due to i need a foreign partner whom can help me, is like you are a lucky one to have been chosen. You have my 100% assurance that you can trust me. Sorry i don't have any vers personally in the Bible because we were not totally in Christianity due to my father was a king so his royal things does not allow the family to be much deep into Christianity. But if you teach me then i will love to read with you. I have attached my picture so you can see.

Yours Miss Joy.

Dearest one,

I got your mail and i thank you. I am glad you have sent your identity to the bank and also i saw the letter which was attached below your email that i know you received from the bank. Oh i am so grateful that the transaction is going on now and i even called the banker to seek more advice in regards the whole thing which he informed me clearly that a change of ownership must be done and ones that is done, the money will bear your name and the transfer will be carried out on your behalf legally without any problems.

The banker said that is because of the legal tax which must be paid to the government here is why they required the 4800$ and i tried to see wether this amount can be taken from my father's money, but the banker said no unless when the change of ownership is legally done, only can we have access to the money. I asked about the swift code, and he said it's not a must that you will know your bank's swift. So don't worry about that, all you have to do is fill in the form which he sent to you ok and return it to the bank while i arrange the fees ok. I have some of my royal bidds (golds jewelries) which was given to me by my parents and i can sell them to raise the cash. I know my father will not be happy whereever he is if he sees that i wants to sell the golds but i have no choice since we need the cash. I will try and sell the golds tomorrow.

I will inform you how far i have gone. Thanks and bye for now.

Yours Miss Joy.

Dearest one,

I have a good news. I have gone to one of the biggest Islamic shopping center here in Abidjan with one of the guest house manager who use to speak both English and French. We were lucky to meet someone in the shopping center who promise to buy the golds but he said that they will put the golds in a scale and know the weigh and then by evening i should return for the payment. They promised to buy the golds 5000$ after they finish weighing it.

Hopefully in the evening i will go and get the cash and immediately take it to the bank for the transaction to commence. In regards to the swift code, i told you the banker said it's not neccessary. Just fill in the space in the form with all your details of account and send it to the bank ok. I will be going to the Islamic shopping center in the evening. Good luck to us all.

Yours Miss Joy.

Dearest one,

How are you? I am just coming back from the bank after i have gone to collect the cash from the Islamic shop this morning. However, things went fine but not as planned due to when i got to the Islamic shop, they gave me local currency worth 2,100,000CFA which is equivalent to 5000$. And i went with the money to a bureau de change who changed the cash into dollars US$ and gave me 3200$. I wanted to go back to the Islamic shop but the guest house person that use to excote me said that they will not listen to me and due to language barriers too, i will not be able to get extra cash instead i will refund the one they gave me and the guest house man said there is no other place to sell the gold.

So i have no choice and i quickly took the 3200$ to the bank and gave it to the bank manager and desided to come and inform you so that you can help me to pay the balance of 1600$ to the bank so that they can begin the transaction. I have find any other means but no means and you know i am a foreigner here so they don't like English people. When they see me they are jeloce so i have no one to go to. What about the form? have you fill it and send to the bank? I beleive by now you must have done that. Oh i felt the amount will complete if i sell the golds 5000$ and i will give 4800$ to the bank and keep 200$ for feeding until the transaction is finished. But there is no problems, since what remains is little i beleive you will help me and we can finish this matter ones and for all and when the document of chnage of ownership is gotten on your name, the money will be transferred and i will fly over there to meet you up. You can send the balance of 1600$ to the bank through western union with the name they gave you and the bank will receive the cash immediately and complete it with the one i gave them and do our transaction. Thanks as i awaits your reply.

Yours Miss Joy.

Dearest one,

I got your mail and i thank you. I can understand you
but i have no means as you can see, and if it was
possible, i wouldn't have asked you to help me. I have
sold all what is worth money to raise the amount i
have just given to the bank as part payment. I have
nothing else to do and raise money. You know i am a
girl and i don't need to do any dubious act to get
money.

Please try to explain matters to your mother if that
is possible and ask her to help you and borrow you
that few 1600$ that is remaining so that you can send
it to the bank and the transaction can start. I don't
want this few 1600$ be what will delay this our
transaction and i don't want to start regreting why i
have involved you in this business. Be a man and don't
let the woman do everything alone. What about the
remittance form? i beleive you must have filled it out
and sent it to the bank. You said you don't have an
account? Will you use your mother's account? Ok if
that is ok, then fill it in the remittance form
because any account the bank sees in that form is
where they will transfer the funds

Yours Miss Joy.

Roberto had realized that it was a scam. He never filled in the remittance form, and he did not send them any money.

End of story.
