Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

The money was moved under the co-operation of a new partner from Japan. Presently, I'm in South Korea for the purpose of investing my own share of the money.
Meanwhile I did'nt forget your past efforts andattempts in assisting me to move the cash even thoughwe were not successful.So feel free and contact my Attorney, Mr valentine Gozie,and give him instructions on where to send the sum of (US$500,000.00)Five hundred thousand United Sates Dollars, which I kept as a compensation for all your past efforts. Please let me know immediately you recieve it,
Finally, be informed that I did give him US$100 to effect the cost but when I was at airport about flying to Korea, I inquire about its cost and was told that it will cost about US$250 including insurance,so you should assist him with US$150 in this because it is too late for me to make provisions for more money. Please I appologise any incovenice this may cost your person.
