Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

fine? I'm happy to inform you about my success in getting those funds
transferred under the cooperation of a new partner from Paraguay. Presently
I'm in Paraguay for investment projects with my own share of the total sum
of money which i inherit from my death father. meanwhile,your profile move
me to contact you .i believe you will  be nice to me. that is why i decided
to compensate you.
 
Now contact my secretary in Benin his name is mike John on: (
mr_mike_john2006@yahoo.com)    ask him to send you the total of $800.000.00
which i kept for your compensation  to assist me in this matter.I will
appreciated your efforts if you co-operate with me. feel free and get in
touched with my secretary mike John and instruct him where to send the
amount to you.
 
Please do let me know immediately you receive it so that we can share the
joy after all the sufferness. in the moment, Am very busy here
because of the investment projects which make me to look for  a new partner.
finally, remember that I had forwarded instruction to the secretary
on your behalf to receive that money, so feel free to get in touch with mike
john, he will send the amount to you without any delay.
