Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

Smith the claims processing officer of the Publishers Clearing House Lottery New York and the Purpose of writing you this letter is to inform you that your name/details have been listed in our central computer among unpaid lottery beneficiaries of the Publishers Clearing House Award Promo NY that has been certified to receive a grant total of $3,000,000 Million USD as part of an appreciation from the President Obama Government to compensate all the individuals including republicans who supported the Presidential Campaign in the year 2008 that is why your name/company name has been selected to receive the above grant of $3 Million USD.

Be informed that your email appeared among the 7 lucky beneficiaries who is to receive the above sum won by you in the January 2010 edition of the Presidential Campaign Publishers Clearing House Award Promo in which your email attached to Winning Number PCHL7698218NY was selected anonymously and emerged as one of the lucky seven selected email addresses in the Category B of the promotions. I have sent several emails to you since the announcement but got no response from you.

However, I received an application for claim from one Mr. Steve Morris with a different email address who claimed he is your next of kin, claiming that you are dead and by right as your next of kin he is entitled to the above mentioned amount. He also submitted his bank account particulars where he wants the said fund transferred to. Could you please confirm if the email address I used in sending you this message, which I saw in our records is still valid because Mr. Steve Morris claimed that your email address is no longer valid.

If I don't hear from you after 72 hours from the date I sent you this message, I will consider my investigation a waste of time and instruct the Board of Directors to cancel your winning instrument to avoid further complications. Also note that this grant of $3 Million USD from the Obama Government is to be paid to you from our corresponding bank in the UK so you are to respond back to my direct email (scottysmith4u@gmail.com) to enable me furnish you with full details of your payment as this award is totally different from our usual yearly bonanza but a compensation for your donations to the Obama Presidential Election Campaign in 2008.
