Subject: Dear Miss Young
Dear
I have decided to contact you for this transaction after keeping it with me for some time now. My name is Harry beko, the Group general Manager, Public Affairs at the NNPC. We signed a one-year agreement with South Korean company, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. (DSME) for shipping of crude oil worth $100m from Nigeria to the international market.
The Nigerian government is committed to Nigerian Content Development and under this policy foreign companies are encouraged to engage the services of indigenous companies as well as utilize locally available materials in running their businesses. Therefore crude oil traders should see it as an opportunity to support the Nigerian economy. It is expected that Nigerian crude oil lifters will, in the spirit of the mutual co-operation and cordial business relationship with NNPC, support the new company through the assignment of crude oil freight. I want to remit $15m to you as one of the
foreign companies that were engaged in the services of indigenous companies. If you can receive the fund I will forward your name for payment approval. The fund is out of the contract and this is private.
Please get back to me.
Dr. Harry beko
G.G M,
Public Affairs NNPC
