interest to our village elders. It will really facilitate this business if you
can be able to visit Ghana or send a representative to be your eyes here
because I am worried how much you can rely on my word because you do not know
me before due to the magnitude of this project.
Also I know it would help your interest if our village elders meet with
you face to face. If on the other hand
you are unable to visit Ghana then you have to give me permission to introduce
a lawyer to you to stand on your behalf as your attorney in the meetings with
our village people. The villages elders insist that everything
about this business must be lawfully conducted to safe guard our
investments. The
first stage is to arrange for the local introduction ceremony at the shrine of
the god of land where all parties to this business will present; one
cow, one goat,
100 kola nuts and ten bottle of gin for the traditional agreement ceremony where
the village elders must swear not to disappoint you in any way in this business
and you will swear by yourself or through your attorney that you will
not disappoint
the villagers and should any party go back on their word that the god of the
land would revenge for the wronged party. The items are then cooked and all the
parties eat them before dusk and anything not eaten must be buried at the
shrine and not taken home. After that
ceremony you will register a joint venture gold company with the villagers at
the registrar general�s office in Ghana and get gold trading license from
Precious Minerals marketing Corporation ( PMMC ) Ghana so you can be able to
carry gold out from Ghana without problem. After the company is registered our
village people will be giving you gold so you transport it out from
Ghana and sell
in the name of the company. After you sell it you will take your commission and
give our village people the share you agreed with them. I will be expecting to
hear from you.
