Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

PRETORIA, South Africa, April 14, 2011 β€” The South African Reserve Bank (SARB), The Constitution mandates the SARB to perform its functions independently and Government will continue to ensure that this independence is not compromised. Section 224(2) of the Constitution requires that the SARB β€œin pursuit of its primary object, must perform its functions independently and without fear, favor or prejudice.

It has come to the attention of the Parliament of The Republic of South Africa that your transferred funds are currently on hold in our international stock exchange facility with the Clearing House New York awaiting your humble compliance.

We therefore request that you communicate with us to know the best way of resolving this very issue, your urgent communication is needed regarding the immediate payment of your overdue funds in our vault, the South African Reserve Bank and its entire board has agreed that your inheritance funds valued US$7,500,000 be transferred at this first quarter of the banking fiscal year 2011.

The South African Department of Finance has given us the right to transfer your funds due to our past track success record in transfer of funds to distress beneficiaries which has been proved effective, and with the use of the new and latest South African Multiple Option Payment System which is in line with the Committee on Payment and Settlement System.

Note, All banks that are members of the Banking Council of South Africa, which the SARB is a member, have agreed to adhere to the Code of Banking Practice (COBP) on a voluntary basis. The COBP is not a statutory code. It sets out minimum standards that the bank must adhere to in their relationship with a client. Building on the previous work, the CPSS and the Technical Committee of IOSCO aim to contribute further to this process by jointly issuing authoritative guarantee and Recommendations for the full payment of your funds.

Reference to the above, you are requested to forward your receiving bank co-ordinate for the funds transfer/crediting of your funds, your telephone and fax number for easy communication.
