This office is acting under the directives of the President, Commander In Chief of The Armed Forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who mandated this office to verify and recommend for payment outstanding debts owed by the Federal Government of Nigeria, mostly to foreigners as a result of contracts/inheritance, if after verification claims find out to be genuine.
